    Disappointing product and warranty service

    Tv developed a black bar with lines 6 months after purchase and although it is under warranty through Best Buy and Samsung it hasn't been replaced. Samsung says i damaged it although there is no exterior damage and Best Buy won't replace it because it is still under Samsung warranty. Now the tv has no picture and flashes of and on with sound. I guess i caused this as well. This tv hung on the wall until it was time for them to come and repair it which never happened. Nothing hit it. It moved on a wall mount. So disappointed and will nolonger purchase from Best Buy and am reconsidering anymore Samsung purchases.

      Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage:

      1) Standard: Default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
      3) Movie: Most suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
      4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.

    Dark picture no matter what you do.

    Have had Samsung TVs in the past… but this one is definitely a “you get what you pay for” model. VERY DARK… even with brightness cranked all the way… spent a whole weekend Messing with various settings and finally brought it back and bought a better Tv.

    Bad luck

    back light burned out after 4 days. Took 3 days for a Samsung repair appointment, he then had to take it to the warehouse to repair in a clean room and will not have the item back for another 5 days. Disappointing for sure. Luck of the box draw as there were 15 lined up in the aisle. Not Best Buys fault as they are just the distributor. This is just my experience.

    Not good for streaming Netflix

    My first Samsung and I hate it.. Netflix is always freezing and I have shut it off , restarted and nothing, I'm taking it back and replacing it with another model , I don't need the headache ...

      To ensure performance is fully optimized, please make sure your TV is running the latest firmware. To do so, go to Settings> Support> Software Update. You can easily update from there if necessary.

      Next, I recommend utilizing the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care.

      Then we will run a cold boot. To do so, hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.

    This Tv is a horrible waste of money. Screen/Tv stopped working after 1 year and 5 months. Of course it’s out of the warranty time by 5 months so out of hundreds of dollars. I’ll never buy Samsung products again.

    Would not recommend, only has 2 HDMI ports. Tried to return but they free delivery but won't pick up even if I buy a replacement.

    This item specificslly this company item did not work properly. It was taken back and swapped for a new one and item still refused to work again. I do not recommend because item will not work on start up. I had to choose a different product after two failed swaps of same item.

    I bought this tv for a gift , not knowing that if I didn’t give it immediately there was a time cutoff for returning and as fate would have it , I gave them their gift last weekend and today they told me their 55 inch Samsung has a pixel missing from the screen . So now what? I will call tomorrow, wish me luck. I did buy the two yr geek squad, I hope that helps

    I would love to tell you about it, but i cant. Im still waiting for Best Buy to deliver it to me. There has been 3 scheduling mishaps thay have caused.me to miss work, my son basketball game, and of course time. Would love to change this view. Maybe in 2024.

    I wanna say its trash but that's an understatement. The Wifi chip stopped working on the unit 9 months after we got it. Yes we swapped it with a different unit, made sure to get the Geek Warranty.

    The description reads "Voice Assistant Built-in." After purchasing it and mounting it, I am told that this model does not have a built-in voice assistant. Had I known, I would have purchased a different model.

    I had high hope does this TV given that it is a Samsung but the quality and pixelation was horrible (little green squares all over the TV for every app). I had to return it since it was so bad!
