However, aside from being expected to agree to a privacy policy no one will read on-screen (and no easy way to get it emailed to you, scan with your phone, etc.), if you'd like to watch actual, regular television, you might have some issues. My unit refuses to find over-the-air channels. I've run the channel scan, reset the TV, replaced my antenna (at Samsung's suggestion), done all that over again 5 or 6 more times, and talked to Samsung a dozen times, and nothing has worked. Samsung finally sent a third-party repairman to look at it, and they essentially shrugged. In the midst of this, when I tried to call Best Buy to see if I could exchange the unit, I was told that my return/exchange period ended the day before I called -- because their return window is 14 days. Which is not clear anywhere on any of the receipts or confirmation emails. The 2-year Geek Squad plan I bought with the TV is ALSO useless in this situation, it seems. So if you have cable, only watch stuff online, stream from your laptop/phone, and/or connect devices by physical cables, you're probably fine, and the TV is a nice one. But if you want it for the basic function a television is supposed to perform, you might be on your own.

Regarding the issues you experienced with receiving OTA channels, please go to: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Broadcast Signal. Here you can view signal strength and adjust the antenna position if needed for better reception.
