The screen, when turned off, looks like it has scratches not on the front of the screen, but behind. It doesn't look like the TV could be watched without seeing them. Then, while wiping down the dust and fingerprints before turning it on, I saw that the metal frame on the bottom is all scratched up! After turning on the screen, all doubts left us. It has a beautiful screen! No scratches show at all while watching. It's a great TV for a great price!
