    Not happy with this TV

    We found setting this TV up to be extremely difficult. Also, this TV did not have a place to plug in our external Bose speaker. While changing the settings the screen seem to have a defect when we got strange horizontal lines moving on the screen. At that point we returned the product. So, I really can not speak to any other attributes.

      Thank you for your review. If you're seeing a “No Signal” or “Weak Signal” error on your TV, try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

      1. Confirm external device setup: Make sure the external device (such as a cable box, game console, or Blu-ray player) is securely connected and powered on. On your TV, go to: Home > left directional key > Connected Devices > Sources, and confirm the correct input is selected.
      2. Reconnect and test cables: Remove and firmly reconnect all HDMI or AV cables between your TV and the external device. Try using a different cable if possible.
      3. Power cycle your equipment: Unplug the power cords to your TV and the connected devices. Wait 30 seconds, then plug them back in and power on each device.
      4. Run a Picture or Sound Test: These tests help determine if the issue lies with the TV or the connected device. Go to: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test or Sound Test.
      5. Use HDMI Troubleshooting: Home > left directional key > Connected Devices > Connection Guide > Video Device > HDMI Troubleshooting. This tool checks HDMI connections and helps identify potential issues.
      6. Check signal strength (for antenna users). If you're using an antenna, go to: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Broadcast Signal. Here you can view signal strength and adjust the antenna position if needed for better reception.
      7. Run Auto Program (if not using a cable box). If your TV is connected directly to a wall cable outlet or antenna, try running Auto Program to scan for available channels: Settings > All Settings > Broadcasting > Auto Program
      8. Check network status (for streaming sources): Settings > All Settings > Connection > Network > Network Status, and make sure your TV is properly connected to the internet if you're using streaming services or apps.

    I went to best but and bought it cause i was moving into an apartment and didn’t open it up until I moved in saw the legs were missing and it was passed the 15 days to return it

    Cheap for a reason

    Tv was having smart hub issues. Preprogrammed apps were not working. Bluetooth not working. Best Buy has a 15 day return policy so I’m stuck with it

    Great Picture Quality, but the Operating System Ru

    I honestly regret buying this Samsung 55-inch TV. While the picture quality is very good, the operating system is extremely disappointing and feels very limited. Many of the apps I personally like and regularly use cannot be installed at all. The app ecosystem is restricted, and I feel forced to use only what Samsung decides to offer. This completely ruined the smart TV experience for me. A smart TV should give users freedom and flexibility, not limitations. I made a mistake choosing this TV, and if you care about app availability and a smooth, open operating system, I strongly recommend thinking twice before buying this model.

    Not enough HDMI ports

    Pleased with the TV overall. The lack of HDMI ports is frustrating, though. Only 2 ports, and one has to be used for the soundbar (no optical cable port, although I also have a samsung soundbar). Needs at least 1 more HDMI port.

    Not as good as older samsungs in my opinion. I think it should also have more features from tvs that were made 5-6 yrs ago, such as additional HDMI ports and it doesnt.

    Defective Screen Right Out of the Box

    Bought this Samsung U7900 Series in August and it was a headache from the start. The screen developed a horizontal line with the bottom half mirroring the top, making it unwatchable. Tried updates, resets, and unplugging everything no fix. Even the menus were glitched. Setup was frustrating too — forced QR codes and account sign-in just to reach HDMI. Ended up boxing it back up and returning to Best Buy. Not recommended. Spend a little more for Sony, LG, or Samsung QLED instead.

    Very Disappointed in Best Buy

    The TV screen was cracked when I arrived home with it. I’ve bought many TV’s from Best Buy and know how to properly transport them and set them up properly. The store refused to exchange, take it back, or even look at it even though they had an open box TV available for the same unit that had damage right around the same area mine did which suggests a consistent issue with that stock. Very disappointed in Best Buy. I’ve made many purchases from them over the years, but no longer will.

    I am a little disappointed in the clarity of live sports. But for everything else it seems fine. This is an inexpensive TV and it will serve it's purpose for now.

    Bought 20 TVs. BB wouldn't allow return of one.

    TV came damaged from the factory. I tried to return it but was told I was outside of the 15 day return period. I purchased about 20 TVs from Best Buy over a few week's timeframe for my new restaurant. I didn't install them all in one day obviously. Supervisor and store manager did not give any leniency on the TV. I hadn't shopped with BB for over a decade and was very happy with everything until this point. They lost a new/old customer.
