This tv did not live up to the Samsung reputation. The speakers were poor and the smart tech was outdated when it comes to ease of operation. I returned it for a better model...

Got this for price point for my mom. Samsung has easy setup of smart tv features. I did limited test streaming 4K and it was ok. I personally by 7series and above but for the price and features it was a no brainer for her.

1 month after purchasing this TV it started turning itself on and off by itself. I have been dealing with Samsung support since trying to get it fixed. Their customer support teams have no professionalism! I have had 3 service center repairmen out to try and fix the problem and never fix it. I call tech support back and I have to go through the entire process again. I have had to unplug all my devices and turn off my internet at home and carry my tv around room to room to prove to the guy on the phone it still has a problem. I have been doing this for 8 months and it is still not fixed. They sent a repair man again and all he was allowed to do was a factory reset on it. Still have the problem. Now they want to take my TV for 2-3 weeks to this guys shop. Doing research this company Samsung is sending to my house went out of business 2 years ago and it is some guy running the repair out of his own house. Never buying another Samsung product again!!!! No matter how much you pay me

The TV has a horrible WiFi connection that is very annoying to use due to having to always reset the TV to fix it whenever it goes bad. Other than that quality is great:

I'm giving this 3 stars, because the first one I purchased, after 20 mins, had a line going through it. BB replaced it, but that took another week to be shipped out.

I expected more from the tv considering the price. I could have gotten a 50" for half the price if I would have chosen a different brand

I love the size of the tv but only a few channels pictures were clear. I thought with 4K the picture should be crystal clear

I have been using this TV for a few days and so far I am really impressed with the picture quality and menu navigation. If I could knock the review down to 4.5 stars I would only because of the fact that this does not have all the features that the other 6-Series models have. The Best Buy salesperson explained to me that the 58-inch model was a limited, holiday model that stripped out a few features of the standard versions in order to make it less expensive. Which explains the less expensive price point. NOTE: This model comes with the STANDARD remote. Samsung Support confirmed that the SMART remote is not compatible with this model because it does not have Bluetooth. This is also why when you go to Device Management settings, it may appear that you can add a wireless keyboard but you can't. Other than this, I haven't seen anything else that is visibly different between this and the standard size models. Upgrading to the next standard size is just out of the question for me from a financial standpoint, so I will live with the fact that you cannot add Bluetooth devices. Overall it is a great TV and was a major upgrade for me from my last Vizio unit. The set-up was extremely easy and I am enjoying the installed apps in the Smart Hub.

TV software quit working less than 4 years after purchase. My Best Buy warranty did not cover software, so I am left with a TV that can no longer stream without additional purchases. Pretty upset that I spent so much on this just to have a software issue.

First day with the TV, so take it for what its worth. Setup was a breeze, nice easy wizard to walk you though most common connection and wifi setup. Amazing picture quality, streaming via the smarts apps is awesome.

My son broke my old 47 inch samsung by throwing a toy car at the screen (yikes, I know!) Anyways, I used this as an opportunity to upgrade. So, I narrowed it down to three tvs, LG 6200, Samsung 6300, or Samsung 6100. I went into the store to check out all three. The LG was on sale for 469.99, 6300 for 499 and 6100 for 529. When I saw them in person, Best Buy had a slow 4k image on the LG that popped like none other!!! There was a black and white dog video playing on the Samsung. Only one of the Samsungs was available to see. The LG with the slow video was incredible so I bought it because it was cheaper too right? We all want to save a buck?! Or so I though and BIG MISTAKE! The brightness on the LG wasn't even close to the brightness and color pop on my old Samsung LED $300 tv. The blacks were not black and I thought motion looked really choppy when watching sports which is my main objective. YES, I FIDDLED WITH CALIBRATION AND SET IT TO EXPERT CALIBRATION from FORUMS ONLINE. I shut of trumotion as well. Now, I could tell the LG was a great clear image tv. It had incredible ability when 4k was shown. Not sure how so many people talk about how great of a picture it has though! I wanted some brightness and color in my life so had to take it back. SO GLAD I DID. I actually went into the store to buy the 6300(actually it was 6290) 55 inch because my wife told me no bigger than 55 inch and they were sold out. SO I GOT THE 3 extra inches and am so glad I did. This TV is an incredible TV! Sports look great, color is awesome, and blacks are actually black! IF YOU ARE ON A BUDGET OF around $500 like I was. This baby is worth going just a bit over. I don't think I am ever going to venture outside the Samsung family of Tvs again. Color pop simply can't be beat!

Thank you Best Buy and samsung for selling cracked screen tv and not backing their products. Open the box before you leave the store so you know what you are buying.

Bought this TV barely two years ago and it's starting to fail. The basic operation is glitchy and the sound is failing. Constant crackling and popping.

2 1/3 years old and just stopped working. Tried to reboot and nothing. Never Again will I purchase a Samsung.
