Customers are saying

Customers highly value the 58" Class TV for its exceptional picture quality, easy setup process, and reasonable price point. Many customers rave about the stunning visuals and user-friendly interface, while appreciating the great value they receive for their money. Although some users have expressed concerns about the basic nature of the remote control and occasional motion blur during fast-paced scenes, these drawbacks seem minor compared to the overall positive customer sentiment.

    Distorted picture

After 5 years the quality has diminished. It freezes up, picture gets distorted so you lose seconds which doesn't sound like a lot but it is when your watching a movie.

Could not switch inputs. Took tv back for replacement. Same thing. Ended up holding power button on remote down til tv reset. Input bar now comes up like it should. Tv is great. Except now I can't get my sound bar to work with it. Any ideas would be helpful.

Was a good TV until the screen colors went out and was light purple with white blotches. The processor was slow sometimes and the image would distort for a few seconds

Ive had this TV for almost 5 years now with 0 issues. I would have given it 5 stars but the picture quality isnt as good as some of the higher end TVs. Still a solid buy.

    Worst remote control ever

The TV is fine, but i am so mad about the remote, i will probably take it back. It must have been created by a 3rd grade intern. Do not buy this TV unless you was a remote with 41 buttons that doesn't work with a google fiber remote. All I need form this remote is 5 buttons so i can navigate Netflix, Prime, and Disney. I have to use this crappy remote just so i can select a show. also the buttons have no tactile feeling at all. Try typing in a long email address using the arrow keys without messing up and hitting the other buttons that are surrounding the arrow buttons. I'm so upset by this remote that i will no longer buy any Samsung products.

    Disappointment lasted 1 month

This TV lasted 1 month. First no picture, then no sound, and finally nothing at all. To make things worse the customer service is a joke. Was told service tech would call in 24-48 hrs. To my surprise received the call within 10 minutes. However, it was an automated message telling me to hold. After 12 mins and counting I hung up and called Samsung back. Their response was service doesn't take calls on the weekend. I'd have to wait until Monday. Today was Saturday.

    Worst TV money can buy

We bought this as it was on sale ($699.99) and for a 4K TV we thought this would be a great deal. Boy oh boy was we wrong. This "4K" tv picture quality is that of a tube TV. I have tried EVERYTHING under the sun, bought new 4K hdmi cables, went into expert settings, turned HDR on/off, absolutely nothing worked. We have a Samsung 1080p in our bedroom and its fantastic, the picture doesn't have a Blur to it, also it doesn't look like your watching a 3D movie without the glasses. That's probably the best way I could describe this hunk of junk! Thankfully our 2 year old 55" LG 1080P smart tv is still working, it's going back up on the wall. I don't understand how others enjoy the picture quality,l.... my conclusion; it must have been a black n white tv and they must love blur and off looking video!

I cannot get this tv set to my requirements. I have tried all different settings, etc.. I have a Samsung plasma and a Panasonic plasma(6 years old) which BLOW the color, clarity and motion away on this unit. It is going back.

    2 Defective Sets

My first 58" Samsung would lose connection with the source media and I would have to reset the input. The second replacement set showed a bar in the center of the screen, with normal picture above the bar and a blue band on the lower half. I have had Samsung tv's for a number of years and I have never had any trouble with them. This particular set has been nothing but trouble.

    It didn't end well....

First couple of days, the TV worked well. By day four, the board went bad. TV screen was all white with black vertical bars. Had to repackage and return to Best Buy. Thankfully, I was within the 15 day return policy. I then purchased the next level up Samsung.
