Very dim 4K HDR viewing, almost unwatchable.

Functionality of the TV is great, apps are all integrated, can hook up my blue tooth headset to listen. My only complaint is the brightness of the TV. Even at night, 4K shows are barely watchable. The TV is very dim and I've tried every listed display adjustment I could find, no success. How is this a 4K HDR TV, but can't handle it. This is across all apps. Would really hesitate to purchase another Samsung given this.
