Bad, especially for a Samsung.

We have this in a family which is off the kitchen. We watch/listen to TV while cooking. When you move to the side AT ALL, the TV instantly washes out to ridiculous levels. There will always be this on a non-IPS TV but it was crazy. Also, the sound (almost at 80% ) was barely noticeable from only about 15-20 feet away with the TV being the ONLY noise going on. Got an LG IPS 60" for about a hundred less and is so loud on 20/100 that it's unreal. Also can view from most angles. Had other Samsung's in the past and this is one of the worst.

No wired audio output at all
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The picture is fine and I would give it a 3, maybe if i get used to it, a 4, but the picture is not as good as the 7 year old Samsung it replaced. I have two issues: 1. There is no wired audio output connectivity at all, not even a headphone jack.. This means I have to replace my headphones and speakers. Somewhere in the product descriptions this should definitely be mentioned so that one could consider an alternate model that does. 2. I also do not have much confidence in the plastic legs with four tiny screws to adequately support the weight of this TV. I suppose time will tell.

Great Video Quality Poor CPU and RAM

The features of the tv are great but there are a few glaring issues. the CPU is not powerful enough to keep up with using apps such as hulu for more than a few hours. There is not enough ram to to use any apps for more than a few hours and appears to be a memory leak in the programming of the smart functions causing ram and CPU usage to stay around 97-100% constantly. I would not recommend any one to purchase this tv if they intend to use the smart features

I am sorry that you are experiencing studder issue.
The RU7 series comes with Auto Motion Plus, a feature designed to eliminate blur and judder on an LED TV, specifically in fast moving images.
Here is the step-by-step guide to change Auto Motion Plus settings:
1) With the TV powered on, press the Home button on the Samsung remote to open the Home screen
2) Then select Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Auto Motion Plus
Note: This option may not be visible initially. Continue scrolling through the Expert Settings Menu to locate Auto Motion Plus
3) Then Select Auto Motion Plus again, and you will see the following three options:
a) Off: Auto Motion Plus will always be off
b) Auto: Auto Motion Plus will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
c) Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used
4) By selecting the Custom option, you can further access these advanced settings:
a) Judder Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Judder setting.
b) LED Clear Motion: Select to turn On/Off

Doesn't stand out as a Samsung TV

I think TV'S are getting more technical but the television programming industry has not kept pace.

58 inch Samsung tv

Need to fix internet connectivity issues

This has been reported before in many other channels, but for some reason Samsung hasn’t fixed it. I would go back to an LG if I could do it all over again.

Please know that Samsung is working on a solution for WiFi connection issue and will be releasing a firmware update soon as a remedy.
Meanwhile, we recommend that you reboot your TV as a temporary fix.
Please unplug the TV’s power cord and re-plug it in, or press the power button on the remote, holding it for 5+ seconds to restart the TV.
