Received TV on 18th of May. It ran until 5th of June. Because it was beyond the generous limit of 15 days to return, I had to go to Samsung for repair. I called Samsung on June 6th and they said a repair person would be here within 3 days. On the next day the 3rd party repair called and said it would be June 26 before repair person can look at it. I am betting that he will have to wait another few days for a part. In the meantime Best Buys has my money and I am without a working Samsung TV while the clock is ticking on the 1 year warranty.

Wish I would have done more research and got a better tv. This one is ok, but I wouldn't call it Ultra High Definition, maybe just High Definition. It's just ok:(

After 3 days of use it suddenly shut down and now is in a loop where it tries to turn on and shuts down, Still under warranty but Samsung instead of replace it has sent a technician that has come to see it a couple of times, opens it up, replace a board or any other piece, determines is not the issue and says that'll come back next week, It's been almost a month with this situation

I purchased this tv for the prize and size seemed to be a great value. Samsung usually puts out great products but this one was terrible. It turned on and looked good at first. The connectivity to the WiFi (For being in a good spot) was poor and had trouble streaming through the apps. It stopped working less then a week in. I returned it and upgraded to the 8000 series. You get what you pay for.

Finally getting to this review. Never before had a tv that lasted only 2 years but here we are. This seems to be indicative of Samsung products overall for a number of years now. Won't be buying anything from this company ever again. If this rubbish is still being sold here or elsewhere, save your time. I understand that this isn't one of their "top-of-the-line" models but was purchased online. Had I known this model didn't even have volume/settings or other buttons on the tv itself, I would've avoided it (to me a clear indicator of low tech...low quality along with the non-backlit, non-intuitive remote).

At first the tv was great. I purchased this July of 2020. Fast forward to March 27, 2021, and the tv stopped working. It was power cycling on and off. Thankfully it was under warranty and Samsung paid to have it fixed. Fast forward again to March 29, 2022 and the same thing happens again with the same part that was already replaced once. Samsung is refusing to cover the cost as the product is no longer under warranty. With the same part going out twice in less than two years, it is clearly a defect in the product itself somehow causing one of the panels to fry twice in less than two years. Very disappointed and will not be purchasing another Samsung product.

I was enjoying this product until just yesterday when I tried to turn my TV on and it just keeps going on and off automatically to the point where I can't even see the screen at all. I tried all the troubleshooting tips online and nothing works. I haven't even owned this TV for 2 years and it's already messed up? That speaks volumes about how bad Samsung quality is and the fact that I can't get it replaced after paying almost $500 for it is ridiculous. To get it serviced costs $200+ so at that point doing that makes no sense. Very bad quality and service. If this commonly happens to the other TVs then why not fix the issue? I work as an engineer and this is very very pitiful work.

      Hi BrianN,

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV is turning itself on and off repeatedly.

Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:

      1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection.

      2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it), or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.

      3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.

      4) If the power cycling allows enough time between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.

If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will likely need service. Please get in touch with us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you with a solution or replacement. Contact us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.
