    I have 6 samsung tvs in my house. I bought this last year, the first one we got i had to return right away because it had lines in it. The 2nd one made it 13 months, just past the warranty period. Now it wont stay on more than a few seconds

    It was a good tv for around a year then the tv started to turn off and on by itself and would stay black. After a few days to 2 weeks of it being unplugged it would begin to work again which is the amount of time it takes to get an appointment time t with tech support.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV turns on and off repeatedly.

      Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:

      1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection.

      2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it), or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.

      3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.

      4) If the power cycling allows enough time between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.

      If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will likely need service. We back this Samsung TV with a 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty, including authorized repair for manufacturer defect, if purchased brand-new directly from an authorized seller.     Many issues. Tv freeze and makes a terrible sound. Most mornings won't turn on, unless I unplug. Some times pic with no sound. Home buttom on remote does not work some times. And yes new batteries placed in twice. Waiting for time to take off to get geek squad involved.

      I am sorry that you are experiencing issues with your TU7000 4K Smart TV.

      Your TV has several self-diagnosis tools built in that can help solve problems with signal, network, picture, or sound.
      Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care

      You may also want to clear out your TV's temporary storage space by pressing and holding the Power button for 6 seconds.

      Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings>Support>Software Update. Version 1410.1 (released on 11/4/20) is the most current version.

      Navigate to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings

      The default setting is Auto. This means the feature automatically turns on and off based on the type of program being watched. Change the setting to either Off or Custom.
      If you select Custom, three additional options are available for further customization to your viewing preference.

      - Blur Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Blur setting.

      - Judder Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Judder setting.

      - LED Clear Motion: This option allows you to configure the LED backlight to sharpen fast-moving images. Select to turn On or Off.

      1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m).

      2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)

      3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem.

      Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test

      4) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again.

      5) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

    Had this tv for just over a year and it went out. Tv will come on and only the background lights will be on then it turns on and off by itself. Picture was good when it worked

      If your TV is flickering / dimming sporadically, you may need to disable some of the energy efficiency features.

      1) Go to Settings > General > Eco Solution - and disable Ambient Light Detection, Power Saving Mode, & Motion Lighting

      2) Go to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings - and disable Contrast Enhancer.

      3) Run Picture Test. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test
      If the tested image quality is normal, check the signal of your connected device.

      If the audio drops out issue is happening when connected via HDMI, the HDMI cable is most likely the cause. We recommend you replace the HDMI cable with a High-Speed cable with Ethernet Channel, labeled as HEC or HEAC on the cable.

    A certain part of this TV did not work for me so I do not recommend it. In addition, the picture is either hazy (Standard setting) or super contrasted (Dynamic setting), the remote is laggy, and I would like more HDMI inputs.

      To optimize the smart TV performance and possibly improve your remote response, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care. This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

      I am sorry to hear that you are not completely happy with your TV’s picture. There are several preset picture modes and many custom settings that can optimize image quality for your viewing scenario. Go to HOME > SETTINGS > PICTURE > PICTURE MODE and choose:
      1) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
      2) Standard: This is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.

    WiFi connectivity issues

    Quality is alright, but every few months after Best Buy fixes it, the internet keeps disconnecting. WiFi cannot stay connected, and I have checked if it was my internet, and it’s definitely not. Overall quality of the picture ok, but the only issue is the wifi connectivity.

      A firmware update is available which may help improve your connection. (1420.0 released on 2/19/21)

      Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically.

      You may also want to enable automatic updates for future convenience.
      Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

    Don’t recommend. Went out 3 months after one year warranty so I’m out of luck :/ This is my second Samsung tv in 3 1/2 years. Very unreliable. I’ll be picking another brand next time around.

    Failed within 1 week off plugging it in. BestBuy was no hassle with return/exchange. I exchanged it for another Samsung because of the app menu and ease of tying into our home network and integration into the home stereo
