Do not buy waste of money

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV is turning itself on and off repeatedly.
Please try a few trouble-shooting steps that may help solve the issue:
1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection.
2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.
3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
4) If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/crystal-uhd-tvs-tu7000-2020

5) TVs which can connect to SmartThings can be turned on using compatible devices, sometimes automatically. However, if abnormal "power on" signals are sent through the wireless network, they will trigger this function and make the TV turn on. If you do not want this function, navigate to
Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off.
If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will need service.

I am sorry that you are experiencing stalling and freezing with your TU7000 TV.
To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu.
Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care.
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

Excellent product from Samsung

Love that I can mirror from my I-Pad and other Apple devices seamlessly and without issue. The picture quality is fantastic and the NIC is performs well enough to have zero lag when streaming 4K. I am not one for using my phone as a remote control, but that is a wicked option as well. I have tried a few different brands and Samsung makes it exceedingly difficult to stray. Samsung genuinely surprised me, and I will be a loyal customer from now on! his TV is an excellent value for the price; you will not be sorry.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am very sorry that you are experiencing issues turning your TV on. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1) Make sure that the AC power cord is securely plugged in to the TV and the wall outlet.
2) Make sure that the wall outlet is working and the power indicator at the bottom of the TV is lit and glowing a solid red. If it is off, the TV either does not have power, or it is on and the screen is black. If it is blinking, your TV may need service.
3) Try pressing the TV Controller button at the bottom of the TV to make sure that the problem is not with the remote control.
4) If the TV turns on, your issue may be with the remote control

To change source on your TV, press the SOURCE button to select an external device connected to the TV.
You can change the port name for a connected external device or add it to the Home Screen. To do so, after selecting SOURCE, move the focus (click over to) the connected external device you wish to rename. Then use the up directional button. The following functions become available:
1) Universal Remote: You can control external devices connected to the TV using a Samsung remote control. To control external devices, register them by following the instructions on the screen.
2) Edit: You can rename the input ports and change the device icons.
3) Information: You can view detailed information about an external device.
4) Add to Home: You can add the port of an external device to the Home Screen for quick switching.

Samsung for the Win again!

I can honestly say it is now my favorite go to brand. This latest purchase of the 58" UHD 4K Smart TV has not disappointed! I was in need of a new TV since my previous set had started to get dark shading at the bottom. This TV arrived just in time- Set up was so simple that I did it myself! Easy plug and play right out of the box. The simple multi-function remote even came with batteries! The preloaded apps made it easier and less time consuming to set up- I loved the way I was prompted to allow the Smart TV set up some features automatically- the picture quality will self-adjust brightness as needed should I want it to- That is important to me since the set in in a room with varying degrees of sunlight throughout the day. The set was able to detect my cable set top box and internet connection. Entering my network password was as simple as moving the cursor to the letters and numbers needed. Connecting to my home network is an option and not necessary for the TV to function. I have been watching the TV for about a week now and I am very please with the picture quality and ease of use. The sharpness of every channel even if not broadcast in HD is amazing! It even has less glare from the window that the previous set! I would highighly reccomment this TV or any Samsung product!
