The sound is good but is enhanced by a sound bar. Lag between channels on the youtubeTV app is the not too bad but could be quicker. Have enjoyed the Samsung TV app. A lot of interesting programs for free. Cost was a good value at $359. Can't really tell the difference between a 58" and 60" TV. Light weight and had it mounted in under 30 minutes. Set up on wifi and media adjustments were simple. My dog enjoys Westminister dog shows. Very realistic.

Just make sure you line up the stand lock in the right direction if you aren’t wall mounting. Quality is amazing and the smart functions are amazing as well. I honestly don’t have one complaint thus far. The sound is decent but i added a Samsung sound bar and optical output made it sound like a movie theater.

Samsungs customer service sucks , so hoping geek squad can help me . Apparently this is common with Samsung TVs , whish I had know that !

Do yourself a favor and invest in this television a few pictures are worth a thousand words!

Plus the tv is a nice size and sound is awesome. Samsung tvs have always been my favorite.

Now with this one I can see that the quality of the product increased and the smart features have gotten better as well.

It's great that you are enjoying your Samsung TU690T TV. Please know we are here to help and have a few recommendations regarding the volume on your TV. Please check out these features and adjust accordingly.
1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume.
2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound.
3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode
Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might need to be set higher. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.
