At this point, A pile of hot rocks would have been an upgrade. We did our research and decided on the LG. However, once at the store, comparing side by side, the Samsung just felt sturdier. The knobs and oven door felt heftier. The range grating was more robust. The large front right burner was the deciding factor. Higher BTU's. The oven thermometer is accurate. I bought a stand alone thermometer to test it out. We haven't tried out the smart features yet.

All in all I’d does almost everything as advertised with 2 exceptions for me. The air fry mode is pathetic. I have a Phillips counter top one I am comparing it to. The Samsung take at least double the time and not with great results. The second is the double burner, it also fall short of my expectations. LP burns hotter than NG, that being said I didn’t notice much of a improvement vs the regular large burner. If The 2 exceptions I listed weren’t there, I would rate it 5 stars.

Love quickness with which the burners heat and the control of level of heat, the varied size of the burners , and the large capacity oven. Air fry function is also new to me & and enjoy crispiness frozen fried foods like chicken fingers & fries . The grates are easy to remove & surface easy to clean with no "polishing" as was a constant job with former electric smooth cooktop. It looks sleek and contemporary ...a nice addition to my kitchen.
