Our 60" Samsung LED won't power on. It's less than 2 years old. I searched online forums and there are ALOT of people with the exact same issue. Some are suggesting that Samsung installed cheap capacitors as they had to replace them. Our issue is isn't resolved but I would not buy a Samsung TV again.

    TV Would not power up

Purchased TV Sat DEC 12; took it home and it would not come on. It would show me a LG Logo for maybe 2 seconds and then it went away; would never offer a setup screen. Took TV back and went to another store and purchased a VIZIO 60 inch that powered up instantly and tapped into my WIFI with no issues.

These television are made in Mexico for Canada market. Some of the labels inside are upside down. I bought my couple of years ago and the TV panel went blank one Sunday morning. Called Samsung for a replacement that lasted for less than a year and that it. This is a complete waste of money and customers' deception. Do not pay this product. It is worthless. Will no last for more than two years . Some have lasted for less than two months from reviews written by others. what a shame!

My samnsung is less the 4 years old, it all of a sudden started turning off and on all on its own, and our wifi card went out. The turning off and on seems to be a capacitor problem which happens all the time from the research I did. Customer support stated nothing they could do, since it is out of warranty. What tv doesn't last 5 years???? Thanks so much samnsung! Will never buy your products again

alot of channels delay loading upon remote channel change using Comcast HDTV receiver- when you change channel, there is delay sometimes of few seconds, a few channels have no delay; Re: smart hub- click on internet, mouse nav is nightmare- plug in wireless transceiver in back of tv for mouse, move mouse to point at screen, then navigation synchronization delay, which might be b/c of network adapter used- I used Actiontec plug in to receptacle/router, maybe would have worked better if on same circuit but was not, maybe not enough mbps, still worked, but not as responsive as real computer( ie, this "computer" cannot process email, and it's browsing cannot be protected by an internet security company) mouse nav; this tv is not real computer, is the first of tv/computers in one; I consider this tv to not be user friendly, sluggish with navigation on HDTV and "computer"; maybe Samsung has new updates, haven't tried internet part in two years out of frustration with the fledgling internet smart hub technology, "update" might mean since Samsung made in South Korea, and S and N Korea shared technology park on border and recently N Korea dropped out, maybe S Korea now has "update" that will improve navigation on tv channel loading and internet; now have lost the Actiontecs, the whole white boxes and all, nobody knows where they are, what an exercise in futility trying to operate the first tv/computer in one, feel like the Wright Brothers in Kitty Hawk flying the first plane

When the samsung 3600/60" smart tv 2014 worked I liked. After exactly 3 years tv was on, and suddenly shut off. Good bye. 1200.00 down the tubes. Now $100 for the geeks to check it out. Then $100 for them to come back plus parts. No decision yet other than to never purchase a samsung product again. Sticking with my older, smaller tvs. I loved the 60".

Purchased the TV in Feb 2016 - in July 2016 the picture went blurry and had to call the manufacturer to repair - still waiting for repair. Do yourself a favor, buy another TV. Paid $1,000 for TV 5 months ago and it does not work. Thanks Best Buy for not taking any responsibility for the products you sell!

Broke in less than 2 years

I bought this TV when it was just over $1000 back in July 2015, it broke in May 2017 and I'm pretty disappointed by it. The screen when black while it makes a similar noise to a bug zapper when it's zapping a bug, I'm afraid to even turn it on now. While it was working, the picture quality was never better than average and the user interface for the apps was less than stellar. This was my first, and probably last Samsung TV.

    Broke in Two Years

We purchased this tv in February 2014. It performed great until the picture went out last month. The tv repairman did a diagnostic test and determined that an LED panel was bad and needed replacement. He took the tv to his shop and tried to find the replacement. After a week, he called and said there are no replacements for the panel and that a new screen would have to be ordered from Samsung. This would have caused the repair to be over twice as much as a new tv. He said that Samsung doesn't make replacement parts available and that they consider the tv to be a throw-away. I have contracted Samsung but have not received a reply from Customer Service. Be aware that you are buying a throw-away item and ours only lasted two years.

    Samsung TVs not reliable

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I bought a Samsung 60" TV in October, 2013. It worked fine only for 2.5 years. In 2016, the images started to fade away after about one hour, but I could still hear the sound. It would work again for another hour after I turned it off and on. Although it was annoying, I could tolerate it. However, the duration of functional video had become shorter (about every 30 minutes) and more frequent in 2017. In 2018, the video only lasted for five minutes before it faded away. I gave it up and have replaced it with a Sharp TV. This problem has been widely complained in the internet. I believe that this is a manufacturing issue for Samsung and it should have issued a recall. My recommendation to the consumers is that Samsung TVs work fine for the first few years, but its quality control of its products is not good and many TVs have the same problem as I stated above. Therefore, do not buy Samsung TVs.

Good TV but poor app compatibility

This is a decent TV for the price, however I've experienced multiple issues with the OS not being supported by common apps such as HBO NOW and NBA League Pass. Make sure you confirm that this TV is supported by your preferred apps before purchasing or that you have an Apple TV or Roku. Also, only having two HDMI ports is fairly limiting.

New TV Completely Stopped Working After 2 months

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Brand new TVs should not completely fail after 2 months and need a new Main Board. It's taken a week for someone to come out from Samsung to look at the TV, now they'll have to order parts and it will take several more days. Not what you expect when purchasing an expensive brand new 60" TV. Maybe we just got unlucky, but extremely disappointed in this product.

I researched TV's for a month before making this purchase back in August. I am regretting my decision very much. The TV intermittently goes blank. I checked all the power sources and they are fine. I also tried to exchange at Best Buy and was told the TV needed to be shipped back to Samsung for testing and repairs. I would not recommend this TV to anyone in the market.

i PURCHASED this Tv thinking it was going to be a good tv, boy was I wrong. I've had this tv for 1 year and 4 months before It started going bad. The side of the screen displays white lines. The warranty is a JOKE. Bestbuy gives you less then you paid if tv needs to be replaces, and you'll have to pay all over again for another warranty.
