Great picture really noticeable when streaming netflix or watching a Blu ray movie return LG 7700 and happy that I got this one picture quality is better and the Wi-Fi is faster for the money is a good TV if you want a better quality image get oled TV

Despite some of the poor reviews, I took a chance on this tv, and it hasn't disappointed at all. It has an excellent picture after a few adjustments and the sound is decent. I've watched some of the 4k content on Netflix, and it looks great! The remote is a little confusing at first, but I got used to it after making adjustments on the tv. It is an excellent tv for $1399.

What an amazing TV! Samsung has done it AGAIN! The SUHD 4K and 240hz combo make this an amazing tv! Samsung has created a tv that gives you the ability to see amazing picture and color quality. Got this tv on black friday and I am very happy I purchased this product.

Have had the tv for almost a month now and it looks great! I was a little concerned by the reviewer on here that explained why this is a one off and priced so well, but I'm glad I went with this model. No issues and the picture is amazing.

Purchased this tv for gaming, sports, movies and to upgrade from our 47". The picture quality and refresh rate are awesome. It was a great purchase.

Originally purchased 65 inch Sony 4k. Had terrible light bleed so returned it. Bought this one instead but it had a dark spot on screen, but otherwise picture was great. Returned it for a replacement. Fortunately they had an open box, so chose that for the discount. The JS8500 I really wanted was over a $1000 more and I couldn't justify spending that much more for minimal return. I was concerned at first because this is a "Best Buy exclusive" and the panel was probably outsourced to the lowest bidder to keep costs down. But I'm overall happy with this set and Best Buy was great with the whole process. Lacks 3D but for me (and probably most) that is a non issue.

This tv has excellent picture and very nice color the nano crystal technology really makes the color pop out nicely. I have played video games on it and I see no blurryness or lag on the tv. Football games look amazing and the sound isn't bad. This is definetly a great tv so don't hesitate to go check it out worth every penny very happy with my purchase.

might not be the 'best' plug in and watch tv you can buy. this set will need just a bit of tweaking. i had to fiddle with the default settings for motion blur and screen brightness. but once i did i am very impressed with the picture. plus the smart app functions work very well and are super fast to load. the remote you get with the tv is really slick too. all in all, i am very pleased with my purchase.

I cannot compare this tv to any other 4k SUHD because this is the first one I have owned . I will say it is different than any other tv watching experience I have had. Unbelievable picture quality, it is so clear and vivid. You see everything so much clearer and lifelike. I got the samsung speaker system also. Sound bar, and satellite speakers,and subwoofer. I would suggest spending the money on the speakers, makes the viewing even better. I am not a techie, I just know I love my JS 8000 60" tv

If you are going to be directly in front of this TV then it is pretty good. The 7100 is much better, if you can find it for a similar price. The 8000 needed the sharpness turned to 0 to have even a chance at viewing it slightly off angle. The panel had a hazy or cloudy quality to it that also didnt do so well in a well lit room. I think my 60in Sharp may have even been better, or it is the same panel repackaged under Samsung brand.

My UN60JS8000KSFA was delivered two days ago and wow! I already own a non-4k 55 inch Samsung, which I thought had a great picture, but this just blew it away. DirecTV is my service provider and I am getting a fantastic picture on the new TV. The upscaling of the 1080p signal delivers a much better picture than my 1080HD Samsung. However good this picture is though, I watched some 4k nature videos on Netflix and then the picture is truly outstanding. It looks just as good as when you are watching it in the store. Truly amazing and I can't wait for more 4k content from the service providers. But don't get me wrong, even with the 1080p signal, it is a great picture. I watched some of the NBA playoffs on the TV, and the motion was great also. I was considering the KS model, which is the 2016 version of the same TV. It's not out yet, as Best Buy says it is coming soon. When the JS version was $1,999, I was willing to wait for the 2016 model. However, Best Buy reduced the price of the 2015 JS model by $500 to $1,499 and I could no longer justify the price difference. It's hard to imagine that the KS model will have a noticeable difference in picture quality. Set up was simple. One HDMI form the DirecTV receiver and one from the Blue Ray player and I was good to go. I didn't have to adjust a single picture setting to get a fantastic picture. I did change the sound settings as the standard setting is a little quiet. The other three sound settings were all fine. It was also cool how the TV automatically switched to the Blue Ray when I turned it on and switched back when I turned it off (I did buy a Samsung Blue Ray so I don't know if this is standard). One thing of note, I was going to switch locations with this TV with my old 55 inch Samsung, which is in a wall unit. The dimensions said this TV was 53.7 inches wide, but it was several inches too large for my 54 inch space. I might have bought the 65 inch version if I wasn't trying to fit it in that space. In the end, I obviously kept the TV and just didn't switch the two. I couldn't be happier with the TV and highly recommend it.

just purchased this TV today and it is way better than my old VIZIO. I didnt want to buy such a high priced tv but with 0% for 36 months you cant beat that. my old 3 yr wall mount fits on this pretty well just had to get 2 longer screws for the bottom. setup was simple only thing i didnt like was the manual didnt say how to setup voice command and i had to watch the tutorial. it is WAY nore responsive than my old VIZIO. you can switch from netflix to COMCAST in a second or less. netflix is fast and if you go to cable from netflix it will save where you left off. also a plus. ill change my review if i have a problem. also my remote would only turn the tv on and off and to fix that i manually synced my remote (the manual will tell you how).

Purchased online. Setup was a breeze, picture quality and colors vivid and bright. Smart tv and smart remote works beautifully, compatible with many devices. Will never go back to a push button remote.

I went with my gut and saw the value and bought it. Now after doing more research and seeing the shortcuts taking to get it to this price point. i will be returning it. I will be purchasing the JS8500 series instead. If you aren't into all the guts of whats in the tv. Its a great tv for you. Its like buying a base model luxury car if all's you want is the name.

After years of having my Samsung rear projector I finally needed to replace it. When I got to Best Buy the rep told me so many good things about this TV and when I first saw I loved the picture. So I decided to get it, out of the box the TV looked good but then I did a little bit of research since the guy told me the TV had just came out. Could't find much online and then I read the review here about Samsung cutting corner on the TV. That got me a little worried but I told myself give the TV some time, while I was doing that I started reading about JS8500 series. The review were off the chart. After a week I decided to go back to Best Buy and checked out the JS8500, that TV blew me out of my shoes. The next day I took this TV back and exchanged it for a 55' JS8500. I know the JS8500 cost more but if you have the money, buy the JS8500.

This tv is fantastic! 4k looks great. I have zero problems with this tv and recommend it to everyone.

This TV is awesome. We had to do very little in the way of set up to get the picture to our liking. Once we set it up, it was amazing! The audio, for a flat screen, isn't terrible but we did decide to get a soundbar and sub-woofer. We also caught the 4 day sale and also received the 10% reward certificate making this purchase an even sweeter deal!

I originally posted a huge review on this TV, but it was deleted. I am not sure why it was deleted, and I am not going to go through all the details again. I am going to keep it short and sweet. I did a LOT of research on this TV, as there is VERY little information on it for a reason. Look at the Panel Version #. It marks the version of a 3rd party type company called AU Obtronics. Samsung has I believe 5 different panels they use. There's is their #1 Samung Panel (The JS8500, which I now own is a true Samsung Panel, and it BLOWS this TV out of the water.) The #2 Panels are the Sharp Panels. They're good but not Samsung. Then we hit the #3-5 which are all 3rd party Pacific companies, and there panels are NOT great. This is why some people complain of washed out images, etc. I originally bought this TV and returned it within a day and got the JS8500. I am so happy I returned it while I still could and went with the other. There is a thread on AVSforums.com I believe that goes into a lot of detail about this TV and why you SHOULD NOT get it. I hope I was help to somebody. Oh and if you did not take advantage of the discounted prices on the JS8000 and JS8500's, I feel sorry for you! This TV was $1400, the 55inch JS8500 $1500 and 65inch JS8500 was $2000.... Now they are $1900, $2000 and $3000 respectively.

I read many reviews and looked at all kinds of similar TVs. Don't overthink it this is a great TV I don't know what some of these haters are thinking just enjoy it

Excellent Picture quality and sound. My previous one was the LG Scarlet.
