I purchased the TV with high hopes on samsung quality, but after installation, the TV leans little back and view angle is poor. The picture is clear only if you sit at 90 degrees. GeekSquad person came by and said, the TV has design flaw, and most of the samsung TVs are low quality so suggested me to get LG brand instead. Return process is so hard, spent 20 minutes online, the person says I need to bring the TV to the store (in my car?) or ship it at my expense? Tried over phone, and they said they cant issue refund and I need to go to store. I never went to store to purchase this TV, so, why for refund?

I had this TV for 1 week. The stand is a significant flaw. The weight of the TV is too much for the stand. The screen leans down to the left due to the weight. BB sent out a replacement that had the same problem. I returned the TV for another brand. In addition to the stand problem, I did not love how the TV upscaled most of what I watch. It looked great in some circumstances but made some programs look like a home movie. I am much happier with the other brand I replaced this with.

Picture quality was pretty descent, but Samsung's new operating system for their smart TVs is really disappointing. I experienced a lot of application lag when using the keyboard, application crashing, and then the TV randomly restarting. I ended up returning this and getting the LG 65" 65UF8500 for the same price at Best Buy and I have had no issues!

...is if it were bigger. I love it, but my wife REALLY loves it because of the high def and how the colors are so vibrant.

The set looked great in the store. When the set was delivered, the screen turned black for 1 to 2 seconds randomly at least every 5 minutes or less in the middle of any broadcast. That made it unwatchable. I refused the delivery. The next day a new delivery set up the TV with the same problem. Two TV's in a row having the same problem is simply unacceptable. Not worth the 1499 for sure. I had my money refunded, since I did not wanted to waste a third day for an other defective TV. I am thinking of buying an LG, since I am very happy with the one in my bedroom. I have to say that, as upset as I am with Samsung, BestBuy employees where excellent during all of this, as was the first delivery team from an outsourced company. Great People! Samsung came highly recommended by a Friend, but after this unpleasant experience, and two wasted days, the name Samsung leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Two sets in a row being defective is just too much. Where are the companies with good quality control?

The only issue that we have is the sound goes low. Even when we increase, I seems to not go above a certain level. Tv is easy to use and the extra features are great.

My Television has been great as I have had it now for about 10 months. Probably the best I have ever owned. I am experiencing issues where when I turn the TV on, it turns off by itself after several seconds. This has happened on several occasions. I have attempted to unplug the television which sometimes work. It typically will stay on after about 12-15 attempts of turning it back on again.

I have this set up next to my old LG and the picture on my old LG looks better. Besides the white on the Samsung everything else is almost the same. Not sure if I got a defective unit but the picture looks washed out. I went online to find the "expert" settings for optimum picture quality but it was still dull.

There isn't enough inputs. Image looks washed out.

As if I wasn't already unhappy with the TV, the down arrow didn't work. This mad it impossible to not use the touch screen option. The JS8500, I have no such problems

Although this was a "last years model," this television is great!
