Returned it the next day and purchased a 65" same model which is working fine

Gonna return this and buy a completely different brand.

Waste of money, garbage

Scheduled a service appointment but noone ever came because if a tv is at a business it only has a 90 day warranty, but they don't bother to call and tell you. Meanwhile the Lg next to it is running 10 years strong. I will never buy another samsung product,,,ever

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung DU7200 TV. I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing an issue where your TV turns itself off. Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:
1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection.
2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it), or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.
3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
4) If the power cycling allows enough time between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.
If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will likely need service. Please contact Samsung Customer Service so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you with a solution or replacement. Just call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Three months then broken

I’m 18 years old and just moved across country and just started my new job money isn’t coming easy right now. So if you buy I recommend the warranty.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your DU7200 TV’s image quality. The TV will upscale any content sent to it as best as possible. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.
Here are some tips to help improve picture clarity:
1) HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing.
2) If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box.
3) Change the output resolution of your devices, such as digital broadcast receivers, IPTV, and set-top boxes, to UHD or HD.
4) You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings
5) Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.

Horrible do not buy

To turn off Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC), go to: Settings > All Settings > Connection > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) = OFF.

Best Buy to the rescue!

It rates 4.9 stars. It fails to gain that extra 10th of a point as the remote requires me to hold it parallel with the tv from my sitting area rather than shooting from the hip. I did want to mention that when the first TV was delivered it had been damaged. I called the local store where we had ordered the tv and without any questions or concerns I received a replacement unit within two days. Excellent client service.

Liked my old Samsung better!

Frequently the sound does not come on when you turn the tv on. I have to unplug it to get it to reset. This is an inconvenience and aggravation! The remote is slow to respond as well. I actually liked my old Samsung better. Unfortunately it had 3 light spots where the LCD crystals had become dislodged over time. The only good thing is I needed a 60” tv and it fit my space well.

First, there are several picture settings that you can adjust to best fit what you are watching. Go to Home > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage:

2) Set the Sound Output to the TV Speaker by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Output.
3) Check whether Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > Auto.
Finally, regarding the slow response time on your remote, please ensure there is nothing blocking the remote from the sensor on the TV, located below the Samsung logo.

Better than expected

It's bright, clear, light, and the UI is pretty snappy. The only thing i can complain about is that it's missing an optical port as others have pointed out but luckily, my Samsung soundbar has HDMI ARC which connected seamlessly out of the box.
