Good picture, terrible sound!

We have tried everything we can think of to synch the TV sound with the sound bar we have. Nothing works. The sound skips occasionally and the voice and picture are not always in synch. We can hardly hear the sound when using only the TV speakers. This whole thing has been very frustrating for a couple of older people with limited technology skills.

Great picture with some tweaks...

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With default settings it made the picture look like layered cardboard cutouts - but after reading similar reviews on the internet and taking their recommendations of turning off most of the special Auto Tuning features, its great... All but the auto dimming - this is driving me crazy even when it is "turned off" in the menu. Apparently you need to go into the "service mode" and turn it off there to make it actually turn off. Have not done it yet, but I am sure I will get to it once it really frustrates me.
