    We had only had our TV for about 1 month when it just completely shut off and had to get the main board repaired and power plug. I know Samsung has great products and the reason we chose this TV but had a lemon and finally got a new TV to replace it and resolve out reoccurring issues.

    Bought this TV in 2013 Nov, worked fine for 2 years +. Now(2016 Oct) the TV switch on and Off by it self for 2 - 20 minutes (Depends on your luck) before actually turn on and functioning. I read online, certain Samsung TV models had this issue (Capacitor on mother board is bad) and Samsung will fix this for free as it's a known bug in those models. Contacted tech support and was told, this model is not identified as a problem one.. Posting this coz, if more people facing the issue for this model, they might look into this On side note, the local TV repair person quoted 400+ to fix the issue and he is not confident in resolving this for sure :-) (If you spend another 250, you can buy a brand new one!) I had a Sony bravia 40" , Five years old and working like a charm ! I am not telling Samsung is bad, but if you have other options with competent prizing , go for a non Samsung one !
