TV is amazing. Clear, and tons of extras. My only complaint about the TV is that it gives you an option to control the DirecTV guide through the TV, but it never remembers what channel you are on, so you have to start at the beginning. Pretty much a useless feature unless they fix it. Other than its amazing. Highly recommend it, especially when bestbuy has sales.

I bought this TV as part of a home theater set-up through Geek Squad. The picture quality is excellent and the smart features are good. The Samsung edge-lit TVs are known to have clouding, flashlighting, and other issues, but I am not experiencing major issues. It is highly recommended.

I choose Samsung because of the picture was excellent. I'm glad I went with the 65 inch. If your not sure on the size always go bigger. The TV is light weight and I hung it on the wall with no issues.

I upgraded from a 65" behemoth Mitsubishi rear projection that finally gave out after 12 years. Wow!! What a huge improvement as I've always been pretty happy with the old one. The detail and sharpness, vibrant colors and lack of motion blur really impressed me on this television. I think the touch pad remote is really nice but they could of put fast forward and reverse buttons to control the Directv DVRs easier or change channels. Its really small and compact but it would be a lot more useful if just a bit larger with more buttons. The 3D simulation worked really well..the first night we watched a movie we've seen numerous times and it was like watching it for the first time this way! Would of upgraded a long time ago but I don't think the tvs of just a few years ago touch the quality of this one! Best family purchase I've made in a while!

Geek squad did a superb job setting up the tv and all the components. Picture is great, but sound dies into the wall without external speakers. With the bookshelf speakers, it is perfect. Also purchased a harmony ultimate universal remote, so blu ray, radio, att wireless connect, VHS/DVD player all on one remote, and all in a closed cabinet. Will do the calibration in a month after burn in. The Geek Squad was excellent and directed us to what we needed, not max cost. They saved us a lot of $,

Replaced a 46" 61 model with this 65" 2400 megahertz. Picture is awesome and huge. Got a really great black Friday deal. We had also a month earlier bought a Samsung 3d Blu-ray sound system. Replacing an up convert surround sound. Cannot figure out why Samsung cannot get the 2 pieces to recognize each other our last 2 Samsung pieces also did not recognize each other. But FYI my brother in law bought sonos and that also took a week to get to recognize each other but like ours worked a day or two then quit -had to setup all over again. Luckily since I had problems before we bought 2 logitech remotes - 1 for the old system that we moved to another room and a spare which ended up not being a spare.

This is a replacement for a 50 inch Sony XBR and the picture is amazing! Not big 3D fan but I must say football in 3D is pretty cool. Samsung is the king of big TV highly recommend.

Bought this LCD TV just before the super bowl and wow, wow, wow is all I can say! We had geek squad do the install. I did research for 6 months before we made our purchase. All of the apps on the TV are really nice. If your hooking up your TV to your home theater you will need to buy a digital optical audio cable to get your sound along with a HDMI cable. The picture is amazing. You will be just as happy as all other people who have made the same purchase. To sum it all up having this TV in your home is like clear 70 degree day inside your living room (Perfect)!!

The picture is so clear on this TV, that we had to get used to it looking so real. No joke. It's like watching movies for the first time again b/c there are so many details you pick up on! The TV we watched before this one was a plasma. We really enjoy the features & apps... Definitely recommend more speakers with it. The sound on these kind of TVs are not made to stand alone. The speaker is behind the TV so poor design on that one.

I purchased this TV for my Living room in my new place. Its the perfect size for the wall its on and the thin bezel around it is beautiful. I have the 46" 8000 series in the bedroom so sticking with Samsung TVs was a no brainier for the Living room. Sound is okay though I use the Sonos Playbar for that so i'm all set. Overall for the price,size, style and features of this TV i'd say its money well spent.

TV picture is great and toss in a sound bar and you are good to go. However, connection to the internet is horrible. It keeps buffering over and over. There was an update that took 3 days to do since the TV connection kept timing out. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a "Smart" if it can not hold an internet connection. Once put together the TV leans because of the TV stand. Had to put cup holder under one of the legs to level TV. The remote is a nightmare. Bought Sony sound bar and use that remote instead.

We purchsed a Vizio 70" coming from an older samsung 52". The picture quality just wasn't the same. We then decided on this 65" model. The picture quality is right on par with the oder model and even slightly better. We are still trying to find that sweet spot with the calibration, but it is excellent nonetheless. The sound does leave something to be desired though. We had to opt for a sony soundbar. We have not tried the 3D yet, but we are sure it will not disapoint.

We bought this set over the holidays and have no regrets. Love that it has such a thin frame around it. Tons of useable apps but I still use my Apple TV. The remote is not the best but you'll get use to it. Plan on getting a Logitech remote in the future. Picture quality is amazing for such a large tv. Xbox One looks great on this TV.

Wonderful to have a large TV without taking up any floor space. Hangs on wall yet is so slim you don't notice anything sticking out. Picture quality is excellent as are all the options available with this product.

Great tv. no complaints. performs as expected. Will buy Samsung next time too.

I did much research and shopping before purchasing this tv. At first I wanted the Sony w9000, but after viewing the samsung 7100 it was clear that my decision had changed. I consider myself a TV snob, and regardless of what CNET reviews say about this model it is one of the best LED TV's out there. Not much difference with the 7100 and the 8000. The Quad core processor and camera are simply not worth the extra $.

I am giving this TV 4.75 stars. The .25 star discount is strictly based on the sound system. I guess this is Samsung way of encouraging you to buy their home theater system. This said the picture quality is just unbelievable.

I had two issues with the TV when it arrived. 1. There was significant clouding and flashlighting that produced really inconsistent blacks. 2. The remote is horrible. The remote is hard to use, voice recognition doesn't work right and there are so few buttons you have to use on screen menus all the time. My bigger issue is with Best Buy Customer Service. I have spent over 4 hours, across multiple days trying to get the product exchanged due to the picture issues. After waiting for delivery I learned that they were actually out of the product and shouldn't have given a delivery date. I was told I would have to call back in 3-5 days to see if they have any at that time to setup a new delivery. Nothing was offered for my time they wasted. That is unacceptable. I am having them pick-up the TV and I will gladly be making the same purchase from Amazon who I know from experience will stand by their products and do the right thing.
