Blue ray discs through HDMI input (e.g. Avatar) are fantastic. HDMI input for Direct TV DVR gives a practically photo quality picture. Photos played through a USB input are great also if taken at a high quality resolution. Haven't even used all the Smart TV options available yet, but they are numerous.
