Great TV, very nice picture, bought it with the Samaung Sound Bar. Integrates very well with cable and Internet. Have no complaints on TV. Bought it in the mad rush of Thanksgiving Day and no MybestBuy points got credited.

    Great picture, poor software/features

I must make it very clear with the correct setup, this TV is absolutely beautiful and will make watching TV or movies much better. I have a 60 inch Sharp Aquos that is now in my living room, which looks bad compared to this TV. I am reviewing this based on the 1 month i have had the TV. You expect a lot when you see the brand name Samsung, especially on the technical front because of the success they have achieved in the market. This TV is nowhere close to being as good as the brand would indicate. As a matter of fact, it isn't even as good as my $1000 Sharp Aquos TV on ease of use and compatibility. Don't get me wrong, some of the features are nice, such as the apps. Everything else just feels they put way too much attention for marketable features, instead of just being easy to use. I have a few examples of this. 1. If you own a home audio system, don't be fooled with the whole "one remote" system they advertise. The TV does not save your audio settings. Every time i turn on my television, it turns on my audio receiver and goes through my Pioneer speakers, but i can't control the volume through the TV without changing the audio settings every single time i turn the TV on. Huge inconvenience, especially if you don't want three remotes. 2. The TV does allow you to control your satellite or cable through the TV, but if it's not directly connected to the TV, it will not work. This isn't a huge deal because my home audio system is much more important. It's still inconvenient. 3. Some of the features do not work, Netflix will not work on the TV since the last software update. It says that this title can't be played every single time i try watching something, works fine when i go through the PS4. Pandora has never worked. Youtube and Netflix skip every once in a while, never happens with my PS4, so its not internet connection. 4. The remote is extremely annoying. The pointer thing was cool for about 5 minutes, and then it just made me click the wrong thing when i was trying to use the directional pad. The remote has actually stopped working for everything except three buttons, maybe because i unplugged the voice thingy, i am not sure. 5. The system is slow, when changing sources, it takes about 5 seconds of a screen that says no source found before the video pops up. This is a high end TV, i should not have this long of a wait, especially when my Sharp TV was much quicker for 1/3rd of the price. I understand that most of my complaints come with the use of a home audio system, but this is a high end TV, most people will own a quality system to complement the excellent picture. The major selling feature is the 4K and the picture quality. The 4K i have watched is amazing, especially with bright colors, which pop even more. I watched Oceans on 4K on Netflix, which was absolutely beautiful. I also watched it in 1080P, the 4K definitely makes the picture pop more, but 1080P looks good no matter what is on. Long story short, Samsung made a TV that does what a TV is supposed to excel at, which is picture quality. However, it lacks in connectivity, which may have been skipped for profitable features. I would probably let the connectivity issue go if some of the features blew me away, but they don't even come close. Don't be fooled by the brand, i find myself becoming more annoyed with stupid features every day. Great picture quality isn't hard to find, Sony and LG both provide excellent picture quality, without the hassle that Samsung has. Take my advice, skip this TV and find something else.

    Spectacular TV

I am really enjoying this tv. I purchased it a few weeks ago and really it has been a great experience. The size is great. The curve really helps with the immersion factor. The colors are very vibrant. The downside to this tv is that there really isn't much 4k content out there and maybe I am missing something, but I don't see it upconverting my HD content to 4k. Looking on the Samsung website the only information says that it does it, that's about it. Probably my favorite feature is the options available for calibration. There are so many calibration settings that can be used and you will use them. Out of the box the colors on this tv were terrible. It was overly red saturated to the point that white was red and yellow was orange. After a few hours of adjustments I was able to get the picture perfect. Coming from a Samsung plasma, the smooth motion had to go. I would have preferred to purchase another plasma for the refresh and lack of ghosting, but I am very happy with this tv. I would absolutely recommend purchasing this tv again and hope my negative points do not sway anyone from picking one up for themselves.

    Great TV so far

I was not going to go with the curved TV at first, but am glad I did. I picked up the 55" Sony XBR 4k around this time last year, and while it was a decent picture I never found myself overly "wowwed". So much so that I was not planning on getting another 4k for a few more years. I must say that within a few mins of setting up the Samsung, I am glad I went the 4k route. Price was right, and the picture is glorious. No off-axis issues going on here. With the exception of the aforementioned Sony, every set in the house is a Samsung. A trend I see continuing for many years to come. Very impressed at the moment.

Amazing TV with XB1 and PS4

so I was very worried about spending 2000$ on a TV and it suck (as I am upgrading from a 60" Samsung plasma). This is the complete opposite. the LED is so CRISP I have a XB1 and a PS4 and I love this tv its simply Samsung and amazing. if your on edge about buying the TV don't be. I was worried about motion blur and the TV not being worth it, throw game mode on and its unreal it is well worth the money the curve isn't noticeable when playing games nor glare on the tv. I have this hooked up to my Samsung blu ray surround sound and it sounds fantastic. Destiny, Forza horizon 2, The Last of us all look amazing. 4k is going to be the future of HD I streamed house of cards via Netflix using the smart hub looked fantastic. I HIGHLY recommend this product.

    Good TV

I was initially very excited about this purchase. Once the TV was set up I realized the curve distorts light opposite the screen. On flat screen TVs, any other light source may create a glare or shiny spot on the screen, which isn't too bad. With the curved screen any light source opposite the screen creates a line that extends all the way across the screen. This basically requires me to turn off all lights in the house when I want to watch TV. But when the lights are out the picture is great. I have also noticed a slight vibration in the picture when on some HD channels. It isn't constant but occurs maybe every 30 seconds or so. I am going to research this further.

Great TV but Comcast/xfinity issue with TV sound.

First of all, I'd like to start by saying that this is truly a PHENOMENAL TV. However, when connecting to Xfinity cable boxes, no sound came from the TV. After 2 TVs, 3 cable boxes, and at least 10 hours in CS conversations at Best Buy, Comcast, and Samsung in the past 5 days since my purchase, here is the answer. Go to menu, sound, speaker settings, TV sound output. Toggle from tv speakers to audio out. Then switch back. It may take several tries, but I repeated the process several times and it worked. This is apparently a software glitch that has not been fixed yet. It was discovered as a Samsung tech was remotely accessing my TV trying to figure it out. Oh-most importantly, contrary to the instructions that tell you to connect cable to HDMI 2, this ONLY works if connected to HDMI 1. I tried the same process with HDMI 2 and it did not work.

    The picture blew me away

Sure, I had read tons of reviews about the Samsung UN65HU7250FXSA, and not just the ones on www.bestbuy.com. Sure, I had researched the specs on the Internet. Sure, I had read about all the features. Sure, I had seen the curved display at Costco and Best Buy. Yet nothing prepared me for for I the magical moment when it was finally installed in our family room and the Geek Squad tech turned it on for the first time. WOW!, WOW, WOW. The colors pop. The resolution is incredible. The brightness is sunning. I've never seen anything like this. It is absolutely beautiful! This is one major purchase about which I will not have buyers remorse. The features of this TV are mind boggling. The software is impressive and user friendly. We had not intended to have this 65" TV installed by the Geek Squad. We changed our mind at the last minute and am I glad we did. It was a hassle-free installation for us; but Danny and Joe, our installers, worked hard for two hours. They were a synchronized team of professionals, They knew exactly what they were doing and they were very organized in their approach. It was like watching a team of surgeons perform in the operating room (at least the way the way TV doctors do it). Danny set up everything: the wall mounted TV on articulating arm, our Bose Music System and even our Apple TV. I'm a computer guy so I appreciate Danny's technical expertise. I also am grateful that I did not have to spend days doing what these guys did in hours. One last thing, the installation was scheduled to take place between 8AM and 12PM, a four hour time window. But the day of the install, a very rainy day, Danny phoned me three times keeping me fully aware of when they would arrive. I m pleased to recommend the 65" curved TV from Samsung. My recmmendation is to hire the Geek Squad to do your install

    Beautiful TV BUT....

I bought this TV for my husband for Cristmas. I read many reviews first plus I do a lot of research before making any large purchase. The color is great, the curve allows viewing from various angles. The sound isn't the best- I bought the sound bar which helps Biggest complain the voice isn't on sync with the lips of people. We have to turn off and on often. Most of the time that fixes the problem but not always. We had the Geek Squad here to check it out. They said they had no answers and told us to turn off and on to reset. That's not what you should have to do with a new TV!! How annoying we have to turn off and on the TV while in the middle of watching a show or movie. It begins to go out of sync once the TV warms up and then happens more and more frequently. I'll call the Geek Squad one more time, and hopefully they have a better answer. Anyone else have this problem?

    Descent tv for the price

After I turned this tv on I knew I'd be taking it back the next day, but after some tinkering with the display settings and themes, it looks amazing. Search the model and find some recommended settings, because Samsung has this extremely wrong out of the box. Great picture after the twerking (not the dance). My big disappointment is this: Samsung configured this tv in a way that does not allow you to manually add HD air channels through an antenna. It forces you to scan, and what's not immediately found cannot be added. I live between Huntsville and Nashville, so I use both air channels. Not being able to add this is a huge disappointment to me since I refuse to pay for overpriced cable. Overall, it's a good product. The curve does nothing for me or my family, and 4k movies aren't being made yet... So I have this technology and now ready for the world to do something with it!

Just read all the other reviews. This tv is awesome. I'm a big tennis fan and boy, this is the best gift I could have given myself regarding watching my sport. That super fast-moving ball is clearer than ever. Everything about this tv is first rate. I LOVE it!!!! The remote is super fun and cool too.

Me and my wife bought this TV the day after Christmas and our TV watching experience will never be the same. The TV is so clear that you notice things in movies and shows that we missed with our old TV. Once you watch TV on this, things are never the same. We had a great time watching the Super Bowl and our guests were very pleased with the picture. I recommend this TV!

This is a fantastic TV. The setup was simple and was up and running in 15 minutes. The 4k is outstanding not to mention how great the upscaling works with regular HD. The remote is small but works fine. Only thing I wish it has was a number keypad on the remote itself. Otherwise a purchase I am glad I made.

I went into Best Buy to compare this model to the Vizio 65 UHD and I never made it to the Vizio. From the moment I saw this Samsung I knew. I purchased the TV and the Samsung curved sound bar as a package with a $200 discount and I couldn't be more pleased. The picture on this TV is incredible! The depth of colors and the clarity makes the picture jump off the screen. And when you combine it with the sound bar it makes for an awesome experience. I was going to purchase the Bose sound bar but this Samsung is every bit as good and the curve makes it a natural fit for the TV. The smart remote is different. I am still getting use to it and learning how it all works, but already I get that it has a lot of functionality for such a small remote. I was hesitant to spend the money, but thinking about it now I believe I got incredible value for what I spent. The $200 package discount that Best Buy offered made the whole system extremely price competitive and I don't think I have ever seen a better picture on any TV. If you want it, Get it. You won't regret it.

    Have You Seen 4K Resolution?

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This is one incredible TV - picture quality, Smart TV, etc. From what I know, Netflix and Amazon either stream 4K or very close to it. A good example of 4K I recently watch is a western movie that actually dates back to a 1968. Watch Once Upon A Time In The West on Netflix It is absolutely amazing to watch this vintage movie with this quality of resolution.

Looks great...when images aren't actually moving.

This is the first Samsung product that I am seriously disappointed with. If the Best Buy delivery folks hadn't hauled away and disposed of the original packaging, I would have immediately returned it and purchased a different 4k TV instead. While the UHD detail and overall product aesthetics are beautiful and impressive, there are three critical shortcomings which really make me wish that I had not purchased it at all: 1) Motion Blur: Whenever there's quick movement on the screen, the target image is often surrounded by distorted blur. i.e. When a character suddenly turns their head, it becomes wreathed in a halo of blurriness. When they begin walking, their arms, hands and immediate surrounding scenery becomes muted and slightly distorted. It's very distracting and quite bothersome...even with the motion blur correction setting maxed out at level 10. 2) Image Tearing/Juddering: This is hard for me to accurately describe. Essentially what happens is that moving images will sometimes stutter, or at worst...the entire scene itself will skip. It's akin to watching a movie on a scratched disc (except it happens on all forms of media, regardless of device, including regular cable television). Maxing out the judder correction setting has not yielded any perceptible improvement either. 3) Viewing Angle Quality Degradation: This actually isn't that big of a deal for me, but it still surprised me nonetheless. Unless you're seated center to the screen, the image quality and detail become increasingly degraded as you move away from the center. It reminded me of watching early generation LCD TVs back in the day. Bottom line, I wish that I had read a review like this one prior to purchasing this product. Hopefully this review with prove helpful to other people out there.

I am very happy that we decided to spend the extra money on the 65" Samsung CURVED TV. The picture is the best I have seen...it's clear as a bell. The higher contrast keeps the words on the screen from looking fuzzy. I sit 17 feet away from the TV and the picture quality is still AWESOME. I recommend this TV if you can afford it...I bought one and I'm just an averagejoe.
