Read extensive reviews about this tv, before buying and found nothing but good stuff about it. Coming from a Panasonic plasma tv, which I also bought from Best Buy I was in great need of a tv update. The image is so clear, I use it mostly for Netflix and gaming so I definitely take advantage of the 4K all the time. The interface is super easy to use and the programs like Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, etc open up very quickly when switching back and forth. I compared the 8 series side to side at the store and this one is definitely superior to its predecessor. The colors are brighter, the blacks are blacker and image is a lot crisper overall. I paid a little extra to have it delivered and wall mounted, we'll worth it. Saves me the hassle and trouble of drilling holes and trial and error to find the wood behind the wall.

Exceptional salesperson 'Will'. Excellent delivery personnel. Cnet, Rtings.com, Best Buy purchasers, ALL lend this television to be one of the finest on the market and they are not wrong! Extraordinary picture quality via satellite receiver (WOW 4K!), standard dvd upscale, Blue-ray disc. Truly an extraordinary viewing experience. Set-up was easy. Adjustments made for picture quality minimal. Their Smart Hub interface a pleasure to use. This set has superior resolution, color, and contrast. It's brightness provides amazing detail. Blacks are a deep black, colors will leave you breathless . So very highly recommended.

This was my first LED TV purchase (the one it was replacing was a plasma set). I bought based on positive online reviews and Best Buy in-store demo. It is a very good set, however, it takes some tweaking to get there. It ships out of the box with the color set very blue and the contrast very high. The Geek Squad guy who set it up goosed the picture to even more unnatural settings before leaving. Very significantly, the anti-jitter motion setting (I later found out this is known as the Soap Opera Effect) was set to full-on high, which lead to a very disorienting "pan and scan" sensation while watching. It took me a better part of a week to find the settings to bring the set into a natural picture. So...a good set. I'm happy with it. But take some time and adjust it, or you won't be happy with it. And do NOT take the recommendation of the Geek Squad guy...he'll only make things worse.

The picture quality on this TV is fantastic. The colors are bright and the darks are dark. The Smart features are easy to use if you have Netflix or Hulu. Overall the TV is great and I would highly recommend it.

I did a lot of product reviews prior to making this purchase. I was planning on going OLED but after reading some of the burn in issues, I decided to buy the Samsung over the Sony which I have always owned. I have had the TV for just over a month and love everything about it! Great picture, bright and colorful. Excellent for watching sports, Movies or TV. My living room is very bright and the TV does an excellent job.

I've been in the market for a 4k TV for over a year now and finally found the one. This tv offers great black levels, amazing color spectrum, and a picture so clear and vivid it's like seeing HD for the first time all over again. I can't say enough good things about it. I had a few options of tv's that I liked, this one took the cake though due to its picture quality, price, and input lag (one of the other models I liked had too high of input lag to game on.)

While the picture is stunning, the Netflix interface exceeds all expectations, I have owned several smart TV's these past few years but this one gets you there flawlessly and Quickly! The simple styling of the remote makes it possible to use without even looking at the remote. The remote works with my Google TV service so I no longer need the Google remote. Samsung may not offer OLED technology for the picture but they have gotten very close with this model.

The feature set of the TV is outstanding. Whether you use cable, or the built in apps like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon or others, the picture is phenomenal and can be adjusted (brightness, contrast, HDR) to your tastes and with virtually edgeless picture there is no space wasted. The entire unit is slim and will compliment any decor whether on the wall or freestanding . The stand that came with the set does not do a good job of keeping the TV level and is very unstable with the V base design. We opted to use an aftermarket stand that better complimented the set and was far more stable than the one provided. Overall setup was easy and the set has gotten many compliments on the pictures. The 4/5 stars is simply because of the stand.

I previously had a 50 in 9000 series Samsung plasma that had the best picture I had ever seen until I bought this one. The picture, sound, and software is amazing. I would give 6 stars if I could!

Great big tv to watch! Color is great. No glare problem. Really fun to have. We have no need to go out to the movies!

Since my partner and I first began investing in flat screens, 7 years ago, we've always trusted Samsung. This model provides a beautiful picture with a super easy-to-use remote control, with voice command controls! Unfortunately, we had to exchange the first one we picked up due to a 'dead' pixel on the lower right-hand corner of the screen, but the Best Buy team was awesome with the exchange and helped us check the new one before leaving the store.

I wish I could give 4.5 stars. This TV was immaculately packaged. The picture is beautiful. Movies, gaming, whatever. Top notch imaging! It is very easy to use, get set up. My one negative comment is that with this unit, you have to program the remote to the TV, and it doesn't give instructions on how to do this. You have to use the remote to get the initial setup done, and since you can't use the remote to do the setup, you end up having to call their help line. It was very quick and quite easy, but it's one of those dumb things you have to do to get started. Get this fixed Samsung, and I'd have given it 5 stars.

We wanted to purchase an upgraded TV and love the Samsung brand. After doing a lot of searching around through the stores and internet, we stumbled upon this one, which was having a fairly decent sale at the time. Of course, TVs in general never look the same when you get it home as they do in the store, but we are satisfied to say the least. We did more research and found some custom video settings to enhance our playback, as well as some additional tips the sales team did not mention we needed to configure on the TV in order to get the full realistic feel and full potential out of our devices combined.

We tried the SONY x850d first, TWICE, and ended up with this beauty. This TV really does bring television shows to life with this Samsung LED 4K Ultra HD TV. This 65-inch television uses Quantum Dot Color to display a lifelike picture, while the Supreme Motion Rate 240 feature keeps up with the action. This Samsung LED 4K Ultra HD TV uses HDR 1000 to display hidden details, and includes a full web browser and applications.

Just arrived and no problems with Geek Squad Setup. Fantastic picture and do not see any flaws or problems. Had what I thought was an audio issue. Geek Squad came back out and checked right away. When using apps to view any video there is a slight delay between the time the picture shows on the screen and you hear the audio. Geek Squad explained that that all Smart TV's are doing this whether it is built in app or Roku box. It does not do it on regular TV viewing. Explained that this issue is being examined and maybe a software fix is in the future to correct it. Replaced this TV with Samsung since my previous plasma was a Samsung. Got years of great service out of that one, still working just wanted to upgrade. Hope over time this set has the same success. Time will tell but if Samsung did nothing to change quality I think it will be fine. The one thing I feel real comfortable with is the Geek Squad extended protection plan. Geek Squad in Erie, PA has been fantastic in responding to any my issues or questions. Even assisted me in solving an audio issue with my Onkyo receiver that I bought from them a year ago. Very patient and knowledgeable group of guys. I researched this issue of buying a new TV for over a month. Todd the Samsung Specialist in Erie, PA was great help in this which involved multiple trips to the store and many questions. Then the TV went on sale so I got a good price to boot. I would definitely recommend this TV to a friend and definitely recommend the Geek Squad in Erie, PA

Tv is amazing. Picture is crystal clear, colors are vibrant and it looks good in my living room. It has a serious wow factor. After a disappointing sony purchase, this is a true blessing. The sound straight from the tv is not the best, but none of them are. Run the sound thru a sound bar like I did and Pow, in your face with both picture and sound. Would not hesitate to buy another Samsung

I have been wanting a new tv for a couple of years dos, but kept waiting because of all the new features being added. This Samsung went on sale and i had to pull the trigger. This tv is outstanding. The picture is unbelievable, clear, crisp, and I love new remote. The online features are easy to access with just a click on the remote. I HIGHLY recommend this TV.

I replaced a full wall of cabinetry and components with this simple wall-mounted TV and a sound bar and have every bit of the satisfaction I had with what I had put in originally 15 years ago at 5X the cost. It freed up the room space (as it was rather small with cabinetry in there), has a nice look on the wall, and the picture/sound is exquisite... particularly given I haven't even swapped out the DirecTV receiver for 4K compatibility. It is amazingly clear even at the lower resolution. I can't imagine how great the quality will be when I finish the swap. Additionally, the user interface for the internet, streaming, and all is so easy. Not near the remote confusion and complication that I had before. I am really satisfied with this purchase. I did have Geek Squad do the install and setup. So... my review is based on end use only.

This Tv is the best of its class. The new 2017 models do not compare to last year's tv's. For 2017 I would look at Sony's xbr900E or 930E.

I purchased this tv on Father's Day 2016 in 4K the color depth (grass is fluorescent green) is great but needs tweaking. The motion, sharpness are definitely an improvement over my prior Samsung (2 yrs-old). The blacks are definitely deeper and smoother. I found the set up of the smart remote little tricky because It could not find Verizon Fios provider in the auto set up, so I had to do it manually which was not a big deal. Overtime (3 weeks) the smart remote lost its memory or connection to the tv so I had to go through the process again and I also went through a set of batteries very quickly. The TV has great features and a beautiful picture especialy in 4K but it definitely comes with some issues just like any complicated piece of electronics, you have to reboot, reconnect or reset, every couple weeks.... once you except that fact in life you won't be aggravated by your purchases anymore.
