Way Overrated
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I upgraded to a Ks9000 from a Ks8000 after having many defective screens. With that being said, the Ks9000 is the better buy and 4k tv. The Ks8000 is brighter than the Ks9000 (despite the reviews saying otherwise). Maybe on specific sources like HDR but overall the Ks8000 is actually the better buy. Rtings.com was completely accurate with the review on the Ks8000 (minus the applications review on the Samsung Hub). However, I am truly questioning why this Ks9000 is so expensive and even exists. Pro: Kinda bright Kinda colorful Easy setup Sometime beautiful screen and black levels Better solid letterbox bars vs the Ks8000 Cons: *BIGGEST ONE being terrible black levels (blacks are usually gray or crushing, can never really get the setting right) *Applications are a 50/50 *Not as bright as Ks800- when watching regular content like full HD or gaming. *No pop or wow factor in screen content, purely average *Way overpriced, not worth it Conclusion: Stick with KS8000. Hope that your tv does not arrive defective and it will truly be a great tv that is exceptionally bright and introduces the wow factor.

TV came on time, great and professional delivery. Install was a breeze, basically follow prompts and adjust few settings to calibrate colors, picture mode, etc. I did not give it 5 stars as this is a 2016 model and is somewhat thick at its lower part.

Best Picture

Sometimes the picture is so clear it's like looking out a window. The remote takes a little getting use to and I wish it had a number pad but there are universal remotes out there that solve that issue. I cannot comment on the sound since I had a soundbar from the start.
