    Had a top of the line samsung bought in 2009. No problems and nice picture . Wanted 4k and bought this top of the line samsung. The first one had to be returned as the sound did not work. The replacement has issues with smooth motion and the u tube appl when using utube it would constantly buffer. I have an expensive new router but still have problems. Had geek squad install and they were great. Disappointed in this model. Very confusing and not a great match when combining other technologies with it.Also the sound is very poor so plan on spending even more money for a sound bar. My older samsung sounded fine but it was not quite as thin as the new one ..... however on a good note you cant beat the picture. Absolutely stunning.

    Too expensive for the returns. Complicated setup

    Over $2K and the returns do not justify that. Trying to attached our DVD player is way over the every day persons ability. The Geek Squad had built in job security in every smart TV Best Buy sells and they are overpriced too. Best Buy is the Best thing that could have happened to Best Buy :-(

    Great Picture, Samsung customer service HORRIBLE

    Geek Squad came out and set up tv, explained everything, and did EXCELLENT job!!!! One week later, the " smart hub" feature with all my favorite apps would not work. When I pressed the home button, nothing would appear. I went to Samsung support, entered my phone number, and was told they would get woth me shortly. They DID NOT. SO, I unplugged the tv to reboot. The " smart hub" would come up, but my apps would not load. When I went through the steps to reinstall them to my home screen, it would not work. So FRUSTRATED! Once again, two days after my initial tequest for support, went to Samsung, entered my phine number, and was told they would contact me shortly. Again, they never called. Today, four days after my initial request, I went to Samsung support, entered my phone number, and same message that they would contact me shortly. NOTHING! Very frustrated. Salesman warned me that this was a problem., I wished I would have heeded his advise and bought another brand. Very dissapointed in Samsung for its inferior product and non existance support. I will definately spread the word.

    Was not very impressed with this tv. Did not look any better than my sharp aquos. I did not watch any 4k though. The lg oled has a much better picture if u are willing to pay the money

    Hard to get used to

    Had Plasma HDTVs for last 15 years - hard to get used to the new LED picture. Trying to adjust picture so it looks less vivid and more like the picture I see at the movie theater.

    It's a good Smart TV. I don't feel like it's as good as my Curved HD 4K TV that it was meant to replace. There are some features that I miss about my Curve that this TV lacks.

    I purchased this with great excitement after doing a lot of research. I got it home and setup and was not satisfied at all so I returned it. After speaking with another store associate I learned that the SUHD technology was not as advanced as the OLED technology. I ended up purchasing the LG OLED series with the built in sound bar and absolutely love it! I have always bought Samsung products and am very disappointed in this model. This model maybe ok for gaming, movies, etc but not watching sports.

    TV exhibited 1cm band across the top of the screen that was a few shades lighter than the rest of the picture. Tried multiple inputs & built-in apps and symptom was present in all. Also, for letterbox movies the local dimming did not work well - even after calibration. Returned for a Sony, Quality & setup of the Sony was far superior.

    After spending +$2,700, I expected the quality to be great and for there to be a while before I experienced any quality issues but my experience was anything but. No less than 2 weeks after my purchase (outside of the return window) did the sound and picture start to go out periodically. There was nothing wrong with the product physically and I kept the same setup that worked with my old TV but now the the screen will randomly go black and the sound will go out which makes watching TV and movies next to impossible. Samsung's customer service to fix the TV has been horrible and unresponsive (3 weeks before a tech can come out to fix my NEW tv). Don't waste your money...the quality of this TV is as horrible as their Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

    Vertical Banding/DSE Issue

    Aesthetically, this TV is very nice. However, vertcal banding is a big issue. You’re most likely to notice this issue while watching sports, since playing surfaces are usually large stretches of a single color. Dirty screen effect (DSE) will also be most obvious when there is a panning shot during sports. This is also obvious when watching most non-sports media, such as movies with single color backgrounds. You see this in the Force Awakens during the scene where Rey is introduced. She is traveling across the Jaku dessert on her quad jumper. Being that this was my 3rd set with the same issue, I returned it. No exchange. Full refund. It paid to get the Best Buy extended warranty, although pricey at $600 for 5yr coverage. Other issues with this set include: loss of color saturation when viewing from any angle and light bleeding from the top edge of the panel. Moral of this story: ALL LED TVs are prone to having vertical banding/DSE. OLED is the new technology that eliminates all these "industry standard" LED issues. I just have to wait, as the 65 inch LG OLED TV (OLED65B6P) is currently priced at $4,500 at Best Buy.
