I gave this 5 stars even after I had to return the first one I received. The bevel was loose from the front panel. Other than the pain of repacking and driving it back to the store which they were great on the exchange. They unpacked the one I brought back to see the problem, then asked if I wanted them to unpack the new one to make sure it was to my satisfaction to take home. I agreed. They had 4 employees on this to make sure nothing got damaged on the unpack and then they repacked it for me. I did not feel that taking a star away had nothing to do with the TV. Things happen, get over it. Got it home, took my time, hung it on the wall, went to youtube to look at videos on how to get the best settings. After trying settings from other owners, I found the one that looks the best to me. What a great picture. I love this tv. I went to get the curve TV, but after listening to the sales dude explain the difference of curve vs. flat panel, I started reading reviews on my phone while he went to check inventory. I am glad I did. So I went with the flat panel over the curve. I suggest if you are thinking about going to a curve tv like I was, please do research and read all reviews, then make your decision. I think flat is the better choice. Yea, the curve looks really cool, but after weighing the pros and cons, it really isn't. Just my opinion. This tv has great picture. I like my picture bright and vibrant and now I got it. Much, much better than my old Vizio 65 3D

If you are looking for 4K and HDR this is the TV! The picture is fantastic. If you do not have or plan to buy a 4K player then it's pointless to buy this. If you have Xbox one S this is fantastic. The Xbox comes with a 4K HDR blue ray player. If you are looking for HDR make sure you get this and not not the model down. I think it's the 6500 series. The HDR on that set is no where near the quality of this TV.

My experience is really a painful process so far...My first 2 TVs with this model had noticeable edge bleeding...the 3rd one could only go as far as welcome screen and it got taken back right away on the delivery day...this is the 4th one...Finally I don't see edge bleeding on the top anymore...while I was happy I noticed slight edge bleeding on the bottom, which I planned to give myself a few days to see if it is acceptable....today is the 3rd day...as normal I was watching around TV channels and Youtube videos and live stream...and out of nowhere...when I switched to Youtube live stream the whole screen got screwed...it was working fine without any issues in the past 3 days...I tried reset to factory settings, plugging out/plugging back power and all the ways I could think of...nothing changed...all youtube live streams got the same crazy pics...I attach the snapshots...Samsung support is off now...I will call them tomorrow to see if they could have a way to fix it....otherwise I will have to contact bestbuy again for a relacement....I really don't know if this is my luck being extremely good or just this model has very bad quality control....but it seems everyone having feedbacks here all seem to have gotten a beautiful TV without any issues but only me....I like the pictures of this TV and really just want a good quality one.

LOVE this tv! EXCELLENT picture with such detail and rich colors! Watching movies, playing games... watching the food network its all amazing with this tv!

The picture is stunning. It is easy to set up. My only issue is that the terms to use, after an update, require you to agree to let Samsung monitor your use and use and share that information to target marketing to you. If you select you disagree you don't have access to any television functions, although the warning says you may not access to some features, you actually don't have use of any features until you agree with these terms. That was disturbing to me. I would recommend the product for its intended purpose, spectacular viewing experience, but caution with regard to that intrusion of one's privacy for marketing purposes.

Such a clear image on this screen and easy set up. We've had this TV for about seven months now and it works fabulously! There have been a couple of instances where it has lost the Wi-Fi connection and we have had to reconnect but overall this is a great TV. I bought a second one for the bedroom because of the crystal clear picture and the seamless integration of the Wi-Fi connected apps

Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Amazing picture quality! Fantastic tv for movie watching or general tv content. Sound and viewing angle are better than I expected after reading reviews. Minimal reflection in a bright room. Controls and content are super easy to use. Only downside is the back really attracts dust.

We read many reviews on various sites. Then we visited all the major retailers to see the tvs in operation, before deciding on and purchasing our Samsung 65 inch, 8000 series Ultra SHDTV. We visited Best Buy several times, where we were helped by a number of associates. All of them were very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We ultimately chose this TV because every where we saw it, we could see the brilliant contrast of its displayed content from across the showroom floor; a clearly superior display to every other TV in the store. Samsung's Quantum Dot Display, High Dynamic Range and video processing system produces an image of such high quality, that it looks like you could reach out and spin the wheel on your favorite game show. Outdoor shots don't look so good that you think you are looking out a window. No, the image is as if you are standing outside in China, Africa, one of our national parks or wherever your remote control can take you. Ocean and stream water is alive! People look like they could step into your living room. My wife and I disagree on the remote. Though it is full function. It is much smaller than most TV remotes. If you like lots of buttons, you won't find them here. However, I find the remote and menus to be intuitive and easy to use. For those with high end audio systems, the settings even include the capability to adjust audio delay, so that various digital feeds are fully synchronized. We LOVE our new TV!

The last time I bought a TV at BB was 10 years ago. When I bought this TH. I didn't know what to excpect. It took a second once I turned it on what a fantastic purchase I had made. The colors are fenomenal. Easy access to the internet, USB, TV of course etc. But the best thing is the remote. It is very small but very smart. It has a microphone inside and you can interact with it by simply talking to it. I have had the TV for a month and so far she good. I am not giving 5 stars only because I have a little issue with the CC. I am unable to turn them on or off. I am missing something. I would have to call their tech. Dpt.

This is by far the best TV I've owned, and is far brighter, far more brilliant with better contrast than anything I've used, and I've purchased a LOT of TVs for various purposes. The only thing better is the far more expensive OLED TVs from LG. I particularly like the Tizen smart apps and interface, as well as the HDR gradation of color range is so much better than anything else I've used.

I did a lot of research on this TV before buying it, and I compared it to many others of similar size. It really is very good in all respects. It's like buying a computer; do you get bells and whistles that really aren't yet mainstream in the expectation of later needing them and more? 4K is not yet here, but in a few years it will be, and we plan on keeping this TV for 10 years at least. With that in mind, we paid more perhaps than for something less capable. Certainly for any HD movie its presentation is simply amazing, and it's NOT too big for our rec room. We sit about 8-10 feet away and my wife now agrees it is not TOOOOO big! One problem: the specs did not show how wide the feet are. So i assumed from all the photos that they were too wide for my current stand. I built a new one, not an easy project. When the TV arrived, delivered expertly by Best Buy, it turns out there are two width settings for those feet and one of them was fine for the existing stand after all! I should ask Samsung for a refund of my construction cost and time wasted! The other thing is that there is no real guide. Everything is WiFi based. I still have no idea how to watch Internet video on it, but I think there's a way to connect a keyboard and program it, I'm not sure. For now, it works as a regular TV and it gets software updates via WiFi easily. It is not inexpensive but it's picture is as good as it gets for the programming available on this planet for now.

This TV hasn't blown my socks off, but it's nice. I previously owned a 2007 Samsung that was also 240Hz and an 8000 series TV, but it was the 55", so upgrading to a larger size and gaining the new 4K and HDR features were my primary reasons for purchasing. Also, it looks good with a thin chrome bezel. During SuperBowl weekend it was only $1500, $400 off MSRP, so that is why I pulled the trigger when I did. I wouldn't have paid more than $1500 for it, and you shouldn't either. If I had money to blow, I would have bought the LG OLED TV obviously, who wouldn't. Far superior to what anyone else can produce to-date.

Very happy with the picture quality, performance and function. My extremely minor dislikes: I like the hdmi hub, but wish it went a step further and included the power cord and Ethernet connections, would eliminate multiple cabels. With the actual setup, I dislike that the power cable plugs on the opposite side from all the other connections. Extremely easy setup, even with other brands.

Great product that does all that i want it to do. Controls are intuitive and te remote is quite easy to understand.

I bought this TV when my JVC 4K broke after only 2 years of use. The setup on this Samsung is incredibly easy. I had not used smart features on my other TV's but this TV connects to my Direct TV, YouTube and Netflix with minimal effort. I bought the Samsung sound bar as well and that was easy to attach. The picture is much better than any TV I Have ever owned. Very happy with product

Exceptional Clarity, Super Smart, nothing comparable in this category. As soon as you connect your devices via hdmi, the tv recognizes it right away! No guessing here, the remote is super easy and will also adjust the volume on my surround sound without programming. It remote will also work with my fire stick without programming. I could not have picked a smarter tv.

Before purchasing this TV, I owned LG 48" Full HD and Visio 47" 720P. Sizewise and its appearance are superb. The price is about right. Pros. - easy to set up - bezel so thin and look great - right price and performance - separate box for all connection such as USB, HDMI, AV - capable of connecting bluetooth speaker, mouse, keyboard Cons. - lack of apps I love this TV.

This TV is exactly what me and my family were looking for. It has such a crisp and clean picture. I really like how dark the blacks are and how vibrant the colors look. I am a big sports fan and football and Ice Hockey look amazing. The fact that I can stream Showtime and HBO right from the TV is.a huge plus. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a top notch TV.

After doing a lot of research, I made this purchase. The picture quality, style, ease of setup, smart apps are all perfect. I highly recommend this tv. Don't settle for the 6000 or 7000 series. The 9000 series didn't seem worth the additional cost. Great deal and 0% financing through Best Buy if you choose. When you buy, get the 4K Blu-Ray player too. The picture is amazing.
