This HDTV is absolutely beautiful in every way shape and form. I love how simple it is to access the apps. Not to mention the remote is very simple and classy. There isn't a thousand buttons to mess around with; it even hooks up with direct tv so you don't have to use two remotes. The picture is stunning expecially the 4D quality with some of the new blue rays coming out.

Very happy with this buy, colors, contrast and blacks all meet my expectations. For gaming it has the best response time of any of the other TVs on the market at 22ms. HDR is a wonderful addition to watching movies and TV shows. Only gave it a 4 of 5 as one must understand UHD and HDR specifications are not finished yet and will not be till 2020 so whatever TV you buy today you will be wanting to upgrade in a few years. That being said this or the 9000s are the ones to buy.

This TV has great a picture, is thin, sleek, and great. One thing that surprised me is that the HDMI ports are NOT on the TV. Rather, there is a cord that goes from the TV to an HDMI box that comes with the TV. If you already have cords running through your wall and think you can just hook them to this TV when it's replacing the previous set, you're in for a surprise.

I've had many Samsung products and they never disappoint. The 4k SUHD TV has excellent picture quality. It was easy to connect to my cable box and audio system, as well as syncing with my Harmony remote. The owners manual (which is available directly from the TV or on the Samsung website) and onscreen instructions were easy to follow, even for a baby boomer like me.

After watching a movie on this exact TV at a friends house, I had to get one for myself. Excellent picture, color, and sound. Love how trim the sides are. You can turn off the Samsung light on the bottom (it's a little distracting). You can also program all the different colors for everything you do...gaming, movies, TV, etc.. I'm very happy with this purchase.

We replaced a 10 year old 60" projection TV with this one. Our first reaction was wow. The picture is sharp, bright and vibrant. The set up was easy and the features are plentiful. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the included legs, they were a little bulky, but okay. We installed the TV using a wall mount so the legs weren't a problem for us. Overall a good buy.

Very happy with the quality and ease of use. The clarity and detail we now see is amazing. So much more detail is seen from the darkest of scenes to the brightest is so much ire clear. We seethe smallest of details. TV is easy to setup and very light weight for easy wall mounting or TV stand install. Would recommend to anyone who wants a great tv, this is the one.

This TV is so close to 5 stars. The picture is amazing and incredibly bright. The standard brightness was too bright for me. I had to turn it down a bit. It does a very good job with blacks, unless there isn't much else on the screen. Only then does the level of black get "whitewashed". I am used to plasma sets so it is taking me a bit to get used to the way motion is displayed on a LCD TV. There are a gazillion settings to customize the picture. The smart aspect of this set is really quite smart. Once you watch 4K for a bit you won't want to go back. 1080 is for the weak.

This is a great for anything with lots of motion. The Best Buy associate informed us that samsung Is amping up their brightness and assisted us in comparing Sony (which has more realistic colors). The down side was the mounting on the all. The traditional kits have spacers and bolt in them, but you will need to custom cut them to fit the mount. Best Buy confirmed this as well. Great tv, but you'll have to cut the screws/bolts to properly mount it.

The Samsung KS8000 TV is the best all around 4K TV for under 2000.00. With HDR 10 and up scaling technology the picture is one of, if not the best, on the market for the money. Sleek design with almost no boarder, other than the bottom, the KS8000 leaves little to be desired in terms of asthetics and the quality of blacks to whites is fantastic, with almost no "edge bleeding" (white-ish corners in absolute black images). It comes with an hdmi import brick so the TV has only one to two wires actually coming out of it. Those wires feed into the small brick to minimize wire clusters dangling out of the tv (fantastic for mounting). I did some research and the KS 8000 stands above the rest. Also has extremely limited lag, which is great for gaming. In a simple word, everyone who has come into my home and sees it says "WOW"! I haven't even calibrated it yet to maximize the image quality. The TV is an absolute buy if your willing to spend.

While not looking for a new TV, and made an in store decision. Being an Engineer, features were very important, and by far we are satisfied with the size, color, features of the remote, and beyond. We did have to build a custom shelving, as our original idea of attaching to wall was not necessary. Due to it's size it worked best to stand. What a great TV!

Trust me. This is a great TV at a great price. We decided it was time to upgrade our 7 year old Panasonic plasma and WOW what a difference. 4K YouTube videos look amazing. PS4 Pro looks outstanding. Even Directv HD channels look amazing. The sound is sufficient but I went ahead and completed the TV with a Samsung sound bar. Could not beer happier.

after tweaking the white balance the picture is incredible..cannot ask for better blacks which is one of the feathers that impresses the most.. didn't think it was possible for black level this good with edge lighting. after nearly 3 weeks of viewing I have nothing to criticize..some don't like the slim remote..it does takes a little getting use to..

This is a great TV. Have had it for 4 years now. The power cable once a year seems to fall out the back but a piece of tape could prevent this. Paired this with a Samsung soundbar and it was super easy to set up. It updates by itself and has many downloadable apps.

This TV has so far exceeded expectations. The sound is much better than expected but the real difference is in the picture itself. The clarity and crispness of the picture is great. The TV instantly powers on with no wait time at all. Navigating through the TV itself is simple. Switching between inputs is a breeze. Very happy with this purchase.

We wanted a replacement for our Sony XBR 40" LCD, which was getting long in the tooth. The KS8000 has been just what we wanted. It's big enough, looks great, has good features, has good streaming capability, and is easy and mostly intuitive to operate. We paired with the mid-line Samsung 2.1 soundbar and it works wonderfully for our small living room.

The picture quality is fantastic, especially in vivid mode. The smart features, user interface and remote are easy to use. It's a big step up from the last couple of TV's we've had. One thing to consider, it has a glass front so you have to be mindful of where you put it or you could have issues with glare. Overall, we've really enjoyed the TV.

I bought this TV after reading reviews. The picture is amazing, although factory settings were a little dark and I adjusted the brightness. This the first smart TV that I have owned and I find it is something I could have done without. I have enough other devices that seem to cover everything that smart TV does. The TV was very easy to set up.

This TV has the best picture quality and functionality I have seen on the market today. It's ease of setup and intuitive muti-device compatibility makes it very easy for anyone to add the various addon devices most families have in their home. The price was awsome as well.
