My 7 year old Sony Bravia's picture is similar. Also the refresh rate is lacking when watching sports. In addition, the TV began turning itself on and off repeatedly in 5 second intervals about a week and a half ago. At that point the TV didn't work at all as it never allowed the picture to completely appear. I have no idea how long it went on before I saw it as it began while it was turned off. Just had a new board put in yesterday.
