Great picture until it stops working

I was really impressed with the picture quality and aesthetics of the TV for the first few weeks. After about 3 weeks of use, occasionally the "smart hub" would not recognize my cable DVR as being plugged in and I could not watch TV. I would have to unplug the TV, wait 30 seconds, plug it back in and it would then recognize the DVR. A week later, the TV began turning itself off and restarting. After about 20 minutes of watching Netflix or Youtube (via the smart TV) or watching cable (via the DVR), the TV would reboot itself. This happens in an endless cycle every 20 minutes. I called Samsung customer service since the TV is under warranty for the first year. I was told that a factory reset would surely solve the problem. It didn't. Then I was told that I needed to update the software (even though the TV said it was up to date). They mailed me a USB drive with new software and I installed it. It did not fix the issue. Then they said it had to be the smart hub on the TV, so they mailed me a new one. I went a week without issue, but now it is doing it again. Now, I am in the process of scheduling a Samsung tech to come to my house to look at the TV. When you spend $2,000.00 on a TV, it shouldn't be having these issues. If it is, they should allow you to trade it in for a new one. I have had to endure 3 months of trying to deal with tech support, without having a TV to watch (that I paid a lot of money for). Now they want me to take time off work to be home for a technician to come confirm that the TV is broken. Samsung has really built itself a terrible reputation over the last year, and this will certainly be the last Samsung product I purchase.

To do this, please follow these instructions: Home – Settings – Picture – Expert Settings – Auto Motion Plus – Change to “Custom” and adjust to your liking.
