Beautiful tv with glitches

That said, it would frequently crash and refuse to turn on until I downloaded the software update. Also, the power port appears loose.

This UHD TV is crisp (and weird)

This ultra glossed over viewing experience is weird and not as ideal as my other HD TV's. I feel like all my shows and TVs were filmed on a camcorder and when the picture moves, in doesn't look like the pixelation is keeping up. I don't think this is a Samsung problem as much as it is an 4K UHD problem. Can a TV be too HD? I think the answer is yes. My advice, go to a friends house that has a 4k UHD TV and watch a few shows/movies before buying your own. I wish I would have done that. I wouldn't have bought this TV.

Free delivery is a joke!

What is a joke is Best Buy was supposed to deliver this TV for free. Scheduled a day and time at checkout, got a confirmed time email for 10 days later, all was good. 3 days later an email shows up saying I still need to schedule delivery. Called customer service and was told everything was just fine a guy named Mark will be bringing it on the scheduled day between noon and 4. Take a half day off work to be there for delivery, 5 o'clock shows up no TV. I call customer service to see where it's at and they say oh there was an issue it and it won't be there today. Nice customer service. Better yet the survey comes out a week later to see how happy I was, I check very unhappy and check the option I would like a call back, no call they don't care so neither do I. Lost a half day's wages and had to take another half day off two days later. Good bye Best Buy your service is a joke and I'm done buying stuff from you. Don't waste you time trying to make it right now you have had since Black Friday and I shouldn't have to blow you up on a review to get a response.

Quality could be better

Samsung is ok

remote control issues

Hooked everything up, followed instructions and the remote control would not pair to TV. Called Samsung support and went through all steps and still nothing. Samsung is sending a new remote but could take up to 3 weeks to arrive. I cannot use the TV without the remote therefore can only speak to my remote issues and nothing else.

Terrible smart TV

First smart TV I've bought and I'd rather use a Roku stick then this television to play my apps. I've tried everything possible to make sure it is not my issue. Called Geek squad out and he said I did everything that he would do to fix it. His best answer is maybe there will be a software "fix" soon! Terrible waste of $1500. Find another television.

Unless you stream thru Netflix or like apps, the 1080 p pushed thru Directv shows up pixelated on a large screen tv. I wish that had been communicated to me before I purchased and had it delivered. Such a waste of time. I returned the tv. Will purchase when cable providers catch up with the tv's technology.

light bleed on bottom

I was extremely careful when transporting and installing in order to avoid light bleed. Love the TV. Hate the light bleed. Not many people notice the light bleed, but I can't unsee. If mine didn't have light bleed, then I would give it 5 stars. It's a lottery lately with monitors and televisions... or any electronics really.

This Samsung only lasted 3 years before screen went black and now Samsung won’t do anything about it because it is not in warranty anymore. I will never buy or recommend a Samsung again.

TERRIBLE/ Worst TV EVER!!

Then the TV would not turn on (with the remote or without the remote), it was just completely unresponsive. I called best buy and they informed me I would have to call Samsung. So I called Samsung, they did some trouble shooting (nothing worked), then finally said that they had just realized that these TV's were "accidently" packaged with "default power cords". So she mailed me a new one (free of charge), but it took an additional 14 days until I received it. I immediately switched out the power cords and my TV turned on. AGAIN, I was able to watch my TV for the next 3-4 days, and then IT WENT OUT AGAIN (same EXACT problem as before)!!! It is now 07/28/2016 and I spent about $3,000.00 on this STUPID TV and have only been able to watch it a total of 5-6 days, BUT I have owned it for a total of 19 days (as of today) AND I have had to call into Samsung tech. support twice now and wait on hold and go through this "customer service" process!!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS TV EVER!!!!!! WORST TV IN THE WORLD!! My old school box TV works better!!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV work ok for two years then problems started, I bought the expensive Geek squat protection and the tec yearly subscription also, they have change the board (twice) and external hdmi connect and this unit still does not work properly. they refuse to scrap the tv. Best buy (geek squat) is blaming software and that can not be the case. some apps don't work and others work intermittently, some times getting network time out and tv errors. very disappointed with best buy and the warranty plan. no one has actually tested any parts just play with the control on different apps and thats it. how can u say is software if u don't test the parts????????? so FFFFFFFF ALL THE WAY AROUND, I THINK I WAS PATIENT ENOUGH WITH THIS PEOPLE THERE BEEN IN MY HOME ABOUT 8 TIME DURING THIS PANDEMIC. IM PUTHING MY FAM AT RISK AND STILL NOT A REAL ANSWER

Nice TV lousy price and customer service

My issues is that best buy dropped the price $700 on less than 30 days. I was able to recover $300 with the price guarantee on the first price drop but out of luck on the other $400 since it was over 15 days. I'm not happy to see my tv being sold $700 less and it is less than a month old.
