I wasn't too impressed with the 4K Netflix material so I purchased the Samsung 4K blu ray player. I popped in The Revenant - UHD movie and was blown away by the picture quality! Here's a tip: when purchasing UHD blu rays, make sure they have the HDR label on them and the UHD Premium logo.

Samsung has done it again with an excellent tv .. superb 4k uhd hdr picture .. newer regular hd shows do appear to be upscaled to "near" 4k quality .. much older shows are not affected shows as much .. setup was very straight forward .. Best Buy delivery was also very good as the guys did not leave until they were sure everything was as it should be - I could not have asked more from them .. all in all a fantastic tv .. my only very petty gripe is that the tv remote could have been better designed.

Best TV I've owned hands down I can't even put into words how amazing this TV is from going to a 2009 Sony Bravia to a Samsung I'm astonished the only other TV that comes close to this is the LG Oled so if ur teeter tottering then just do it trust me you won't regret the purchase!

Came down to this tv and the Sony xbr65x850d based on exhaustive review search and in-store viewing. Chose the Samsung based on price, features, and picture quality. In the end, either tv would have fit the bill for my use. Don't hesitate to buy this model - you won't regret it!!

I am not only extremely satisfied with this tv but I ended up buying another one just like it for another room in my house. I have never experienced TV like this before. Check it out on the floor at Best Buy and you'll see how night and day this TV compares to the rest :)

We originally wanted the JS8500, but when we saw this new KS8000 model we decided to give it a try. We're so excited that we did. The picture quality is out of bounds beautiful. and set profile is great, looks like I have a beautiful piece of are work on the walls. The sleek silver trim is my favorite. My family absolutely love it, you will not regret this purchase.

What a great TV. Easy to setup and use. Awesome picture and features. The only slight thing is the remote. It's small, if you have larger size hands/ fingers it can be a little frustrating but with the voice control it is easy to use. Great job Samsung....

The picture quality on this tv is amazing. The built in speakers leave much to be desired and an attached speaker system is next on my list. The build quality itself is good, but the bezel on the bottom appears to be glued together and not the most sturdy.

If you know how to calibrate this TV, give it a 10 out of 10. Great aesthetics, great picture quality, and the 4K picture quality is second to none. Make sure you "calibrate" your TV though.

I had been looking to replace my older 55" TV for several months. When it comes to technical specifications, I'm a tough room, since I've been in the tech field my entire career. I spent over two months on professional TV reviews across dozens of sets. I finally settled on this one. Though it was $300 over my "pain point", the price/performance of this particular set is without peer at this price-point. I've been using it about three weeks now, and am extremely pleased with this product. Picture is perfect, functionality is well above average, and the few 4K programs I've seen are absolutely beautiful on this set. You can rest easy if you decide on this product.

I am very impressed by the sound quality on this TV. Probably the clearest of any TVs I've owned. The picture is great (when watching HD and higher quality). The one connect was a bit frustrating at first but once it was up and running, no issues. It'll also likely be more convenient than trying to fish behind the TV.

This is the best TV I have ever owned. Period. The setup was simple. I did quite a bit of research on all competing brands and models, and Samsung SUHD TV delivers the truest color reproduction, in my opinion. Thanks Best Buy!

After a few adjuments in the settings and the picture is excellent. Netflix in 4k is great. Also purchased a Samsung sound bar and sub to go with the TV. Most flat screens skimp on the quality of speakers so no big deal.

We purchased this TV for our new home. The picture is fantastic and even the sound quality is better. The tv immediately turns off and on, there isn't that delay other TVs have. Definitely do NOT regret this purchase!

Replaced a 10 year old 61in Samsung DLP with this 65in Samsung 4K HDR unit. The TV and a new Denon AVR-S720W receiver were delivered and set up by the Geek Squad. The picture and the audio are outstanding. The Samsung TV upscales the cable signal and provides a great picture. The video from my Blu-Ray player is truly phenomenal. I watched Dr. strange and then Guardians of the Galaxy. Couldn't believe how clear and stunning the picture was. The 240 motion rate ensures there is no blurring of fast action scenes. My Netflix app connected easily and the picture is amazing. I have owned this TV for three weeks now and have experienced no problems. If you are in the market for a new large screen HD TV, this is the one for you!

This TV is spectacular! I love the glossy black frame, it is quite stylish and the Samsung Smart TV feature is amazing.

At first we used our old HDMI cables and the picture was very good. Then we connected 4k HDMI Audio quest Cinnamon cables and the picture is AWESOME. I highly recommend the Samsung 8000 series TV's.

I could write a very long and technical review but the bottom line is the tv has a fantastic picture, is easy to set up, and upscales everything to near 4k quality. In a 65" inch size considering smart platform, picture quality, price and ease of operation I doubt you can do better. Proper calibration takes tv to even better heights. A best buy for sure and as usual best buy's return policy and free delivery and extended service options suit a wide variety of buyers. Also as a last thought as you compare competitive sets; the brightness in rooms with a fair amount of ambient light and the very easy to use remote control separate this tv at this price point from competition.

This TV has a stunning picture just like being there. Sound is also Great. This TV replaces a 55 inch Samsung (the first 1" deep) flat screen we had for 9 years. We thought it had a fantastic picture but was no comparison to this one. This TV has many great features and is very easy to set up, I would recomment it to anyone. Looking forward to many years of great intertainment with this TV.
