We read a lot of reviews before purchasing this television. The picture is phenomenal and the set up was easy. The only thing Samsung could improve upon is the sound. Otherwise, we are extremely pleased with our purchase!

It was time to update the living room TV--saw this TV online and decided to give it a try after consulting with some friends that know electronics. I am glad I did. GREAT picture and wonderful remote. Would purchase it again!

This turned out to be the best Christmas gift for the family. My boys love how awesome the picture is especially when playing their games on Xbox. My husband loves the color, contrast, clarity and just about everything.

we watch a lot of action movies, marvel etc, and my other tv would show some blur... this one hasn't had any on any of the tests I have performed. the color is fantastic and there have been no light bars yet. very good tv.

Clear picture and great support from Samsung support

Love the tv! Can't say that enough. But the remote is where I found a problem. I find myself always accidentally turning off the tv. I don't know how many times I've grabbed the remote, or dropped it on the couch and it'll shut the tv off. The power button shouldn't be on the edge of the remote, it's just to easy to accidentally press it. I do love the smart remote for what it purpose is in being able to use it for tv and other devices. I have a firestick, plus I plan on adding a sound bar and like the fact of being able to use one remote to control everything. Overall, I'm really pleased with my purchase and did a lot of review reading before I bought. You won't be disappointed with this tv and I plan on buying another Samsung SUHD for my bedroom.

Purchased to replace a late-model 60" Samsung plasma TV, the last year Samsung produced plasma televisions. While I've always preferred plasma TVs and was quite disappointed that my 60" only lasted around 3 years before having issues (my 42" Panasonic plasma purchased in 2008 is still running like a champ), I couldn't justify the price on the OLEDs. So I researched Samsung 4K TVs for a while before deciding on the 8-series. This Samsung 4K TV is an excellent TV. The quantum dot technology is noticeable almost instantly, however most people won't like the factory default picture settings (it took about a week and a half for me to get it right where I wanted it), although a quick Google search can get most people on their way pretty quick.

The picture quality is stunning. Bold popping colors, beautiful contrast, deep blacks, amazing clarity on what little 4k content there is, decent upscaling on everything else. The problem for me is the menu interface and privacy violating content sharing. This TV is set in basic terms to listen to what you're watching, and upload to Samsung for them to infer what you're watching. This you can turn off through a fairly obscure menu option (only after you initially agree to it, which you have to do to enable any "Smart" features). What you can't turn off save blocking at your router is the ads that appear in the menu. Some appear as show suggestions like What's On Now? Others are pure ads for Samsung or partner nonsense. This is sickening trend in technology latelt.. not enough we spend thousands on TV's and gaming consoles, we need to be pestered and annoyed by a constant stream of ads. It really ruined what could have been a very pleasurable experience with a brand new gorgeous TV.

First 4k tv , upgraded from a 50 plasma . When we tuned on we were blown away picture gravity was amazing , it almost seemed to clear at first . It kind of reminded me of a video game . Easy to set up and navigate.

This thing is great, big and beautiful and super sharp. More colors than I can even see. the blacks are really black and the whites are really white and every thing in between looks great! I would definitely recommend.

Got this TV home and couldn't wait to set it up. Setup was so easy with my wifi and bluetooth speaker and subwoofer. Picture is amazing. This is my second Samsung TV in the house and they just keep getting better.

3 weeks of usage. Picture quality is awesome. Blacks and colors were superb. Average on Apps (Not as good as Sony or Roku apps). Apps needs good internet connection, if not it crashes. Remote could have been better.

This TV has an unbelievable picture, is very light, and is easy to set up. I have only watched 1080p shows and movies so far, but the picture is very crisp. The sound that comes out of the TV is also very good.

So far this tv has been great. I've been using it non stop. It's probably on for 17hrs a day straight. I'm going to be upgrading soon because I would like to get an 85" tv. This will move to the bedroom.

This is a great 4K TV. Granted there isn't much 4K content available if all you have is cable, but it you have a 4K streaming device, like an Amazon Fire, there's a lot to choose from and the picture and sound are great. The one thing that did give me pause is that the only audio output is optical and my old Kenwood receiver didn't have optical input, so I had to also buy a new receiver. I went with an Onkyo A/V receiver and it's a great companion to the TV. Still working on integrating it with my Harmony One remote. Be prepared to spend some time adjusting the picture to meet your preferences as out of the box the color, contrast and brightness, etc. are almost cartoon-like. Once you get it set, though, it's good to go.

I read all the reviews on the Best Buy, Amazon, and Consumer Reports sites ahead of time and after owning this TV for about 5 weeks I can say it is outstanding in all respects. It was an easy set-up, seamlessly connected to my Blu-Ray, audio receiver and other equipment. I ran CAT-6 cable from my FIOS router to the TV to ensure a fast data rate and I run 150MB upload/download - at this rate I easily stream 4k video from Netflix, etc. I also connected a solid state drive to the smart connect box to run 4k files I shot with my video camera. All the good reviews are spot-on. Great quality, features, apps, etc. I don't see any nuisance advertisements that I read about in some reviews. Buy it and you'll be happy

We have an old Samsung HDTV in our home. after seeing this baby go on sale I decided to buy it. We put it in our game room and let me tell you, my tv experience has never been the same. I can't even watch tv on my old Samsung bc the picture quality looks like the Stone Age compared to this. You can see every blemish on the actors faces. It's crazy! I recommend getting 4K compatible hdmi cords, and anything 4K. Really makes the difference! Make sure you upgrade your Netflix. it has changed everything for me. Soon getting the new Xbox one S to enhance my gaming experience.

I've had this set for almost a year and I am completely happy with it. Super clear picture, easy to set up and use, and it's very smart - will find programs across platforms (cable, Netflix, etc.).

I absolutely love this tv the picture is clear and colors vibrant. Setup couldn't have been easier simply plug in your components power on the tv and your all done. 4k content looks amazing on this tv
