This TV is amazing. I first brought home the Sony 65X850D but was not impressed with the brightness and the black levels so exchanged it for this Samsung with no problems. This tv is far superior from the moment I turned it on. The picture is brilliant and the colors are vibrant. The black levels are excellent. It works awesome with my Xbox one S also. I couldn't be more happy with this purchase. I would recommend this tv to anyone!!

I had narrowed my choices down between this TV and the similarly priced Sony model. I'm very happy with my purchase, ultimately went with the Samsung based on other reviews and I'm not disappointed. The TV picture looks great and the HDR content is beautiful. I like the breakout box it uses for the AV input/output so cord management when mounting is a breeze. The TV is super slim and sleek looking too which is a nice plus.

The TV does look fantastic. it has fantastic black levels, and colors look very good, especially after some tweaking of the colors. That's about where the good ends. The TV displays ads to you anytime you want to switch a source. Which required me to contact Samsung and have the entire set factory reset and settings changed. This was working fine until the most recent software update labeled as "1121" breaks everything. The advertisements are back, as well as issues with source selection now. Any time a source that isn't coming through my receiver is used, you cannot select the receiver again. it gives you an error of "this source is already set as speaker." There currently isn't a fix. If they can remove the advertisements permanently and figure out the software issues, it will be a fantastic set. but currently it's full of headaches.

This tv was rated as one of the best after oled. The display model looked great so I pulled the trigger and brought it home. Best buy price matched pc Richard's so saved another $100. At first tv was great, deep blacks, smooth motion, vibrant colors. Then we noticed an inch of lighter color along the entire bottom. It would only show on certain colors, like the suits of news reporters or oceans. It was too annoying and I was always looking for it. Also the wifi would say it is connected to network but not the internet so I would have to reset my router almost daily despite all my other electronics having no problem. I returned the tv after 2 weeks to BB and just got my money back since the Sony Full Aray tv I want is too expensive. I originally bought the tv because samsung wouldn't replace the dmd chip in my dlp 67" that there was a class action lawsuit for some years ago even though others have gotten them to do so recently. They basically told me it was out of warranty which I knew but the lawsuit came out years later and they acted like it was my responsibility. Samsung has lost my business for good. Quality control sucks, back to Sony!

The picture looks ok but I had hoped for better. The upscaling wasn't nearly as good as what was promoted and a majority of the hd channels actually looked better on our old HD tv. We tried steaming some uhd stuff but the picture quality didn't look like anything special (our internet download tested at 55mps). There is one incredibly annoying feature...since there is only one jack in the back of the tv it connects to a hub which allows you to connect up to 4 devices (sat, game console, dvd player, etc...) instead of direct connects to the tv. What happens is EVERY time we turn on the tv or sat the game console powers on and we have to either log on to it and power it back off or switch the source back to sat. There is no power buttons on the hub to allow you to shut the port off from being detected. Also, the little remote that comes with it isn't good for anything except changing the source and turning the tv off or on. Every time I've tried to adjust the volume of the tv with it the tv just goes mute and moving around in menus on the tv apps just gets to be too frustrating for me (sometimes fewer buttons is NOT better)...I've given up and I now just use the sat remote to adjust the volume and log onto the game console to watch apps.

The picture quality is incredible. Well worth the money.

I spent several days researching the perfect TV. My wife wanted something smaller then 70", I wanted 4k, low lag, with hdcp 2.2, hdmi 2.0, hevc, v9, great backlight distribution (full-array would have been preferred but this TV's edge-lit is well done). I highly recommend it and thank rtings.com for their extremely detailed review!

Love everything about this TV other than the fact that there is no documentation. Samsung seems to think that the E-Manual available for download should suffice, but it is sadly lacking in useful information so far as connecting other devices and use of the smart hub. Have to get a pro installer to hook existing receiver/amp and blue ray device to this otherwise outstanding unit. I only wish I would have checked on the documentation and not just presumed that the E-Manual would suffice. I really regret this purchase.

Youtube 4K videos are FANTASTIC! Did have a couple of glitches - apparently an update either didn't complete or something went south, TV essentially was dead. Thought I'd try the "unplug for 10secs" trick and we're back to normal.
