I did the research on this model (8000 series SUHD) and waited until the price point was in my target range. Excellent quality picture and sound. A little too much glare and lack of a printed manual was a disappointment. I also would prefer a conventional remote and dislike the "smart" remote. I connect via 'pass-through' HDMI with an Onkyo receiver/amp, so using the remote with my other audio components was useless, and not possible. Disappointed that Best Buy delivery only includes drop off and not even removal from the box without an extra fee. Overall, in spite of the negatives I mentioned, I recommend this SUHD model at it's discounted price.

the picture is very life like. The colors are also very vibrant. The setup menu is easy to navigate. Have not had the chance to try all of the added features as I am not very techy.

My boyfriend did a lot of research before we decided on this tv. It holds up its end of the bargain for immersive gaming, Blu-ray, streaming, and just plain looks good.

My boyfriend and I had decided to buy a tv when moving out together and after hours of research we chose this one. It has great scene quality and works well for gaming! Great choice

The TV has a great picture as it did in the store and we love it. We purchased the Samsung soundbar to go with it and there has been a learning curve with that and we do not have it all figured out yet. The manual was typed in a light small font which makes it hard to read and there is not an onscreen menu.

This tv is fantastic! I highly recommend it. The image is beautiful and setup is relatively simple. My biggest complaint is that the mounting holes on the back of the tv are not the same depth. You will need longer bolts to mount this to a wall mount. I believe Best Buy sells them. Solid tv. Worth the money.

Enjoying this TV - Picture is outstanding - CLEAR AND SHARP IMAGE / Thin Bezel. Apps work well - (Netflix - 4K) Love the 1 cable going to the TV - nice reduction of cable clutter.

I like my new Samsung 8000 series 4K SUHD TV. Much better than the Visio it replaced. Not happy with BB though. Sales folk and managers do not know the company policies regarding BB credit card promotions, and I did not receive points for my purchase. I will be going back to Costco for my next big purchase.

We bought this TV for the basement home theater area. Viewing angle is good, and the images are nice and crisp. I cannot comment on the sound, as we only use a receiver/speaker setup.

I decided to step up from an old 60" Samsung DLP TV to the latest offering from Samsung. I could have saved a few hundred bucks on a 6000 series TV, but I said "Why not splurge a little?" This 65" 8000 series was on sale after Black Friday for around $1500. I like the "Smart" features and I like the Samsung Smart Hub where I can connect all my devices into one hub and have optical out to my Yamaha A/V receiver. This makes for a cleaner connection for my home theater system. I also like the universal remote. It takes some getting used to and is small but is very functional and integrates all the smart functions of the TV with my Directv Genie.

This television is fantastic. It has great image quality and the smart features and menu are very good - easy to navigate between apps and television. If there were a thing I would want to mention to be aware of - not sure if it is because of the lighting tech, or other, but in certain modes the TV is just too bright. There is a dynamic mode which I love because it enhances the colors, but my wife and I both noticed our eyes were getting fatigued pretty quickly with how bright it actually was. Especially when a white background was on the picture. So we keep it in one of the lower modes even though the color is better in the brighter mode.

This TV has an amazing and clear picture. I love that the menu includes all the movie download sites like Netflix, Amazon video, etc.

After about a month, I could not be happier with this TV. I tweaked the factory picture settings a bit to my liking, but other than that, it has had an absolutely fantastic picture that has exceeded my expectations - whether the input is UHD, BluRay, or just the regular HD signal from my cable provider. Sleek design looks great mounted on the wall. For me, 65" was the perfect trade-off between price and size. I've been a life-long Sony fan (and I still am), but I took a chance with this Samsung and I'm so glad I did.

This TV is perfect for us. The picture is amazing and we have Directv so it's nice to have 4k to watch. Movies, sports and regular tv all look great. We are so glad we chose this tv.

I love this TV. It is so user friendly and the picture is really great. I didn't realize how poorly our TV picture was until we got this TV. It is so clear and colorful. Love it!

Second ks8000 and all I can say is wow best picture doesn't get better than this, but if you're looking to get the best you gotta be ready to upgrade your sources to 4k as well

Wow,what a great TV,beautifully clear and bright,great for rooms with a lot of light.For the price it's the best for the buck by far.Sound is surprisingly good with actual bass.

Excellent contrast, sharpness of picture and brightness--technology has surpassed what the human eye (or at least mine) can discern as an issue. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

This tv has a great picture out of the box but an even better one once you change some of the settings. I am very pleased with it so far only using it for the last few months.

Best TV we've bought to date! We absolutely love the great picture and sound! Unfortunately the user manuals are vague. Much improvement is needed! None the less, a GREAT TV!
