Lacking on Live Sports

The 7000 series had better reviews than the 6000 so despite the higher cost I gave it a try. Was very disappointed with the picture when watching live football games. Wound up returning the set.

Bought for Christmas - Broken by Spring

I bought this TV for myself as a Christmas present about 3 months ago (December of 2016). It's already broken... IT has NOT been damaged physically in any way, but the right side of the screen is very dark, as if the back-light in that area has failed. That makes TWO Samsung Tv's that I purchased, back to back, from TWO different retailers, within a matter of days..Now both are worthless. AVOID THIS TV!

Worst tv ever!

Tv is total trash one day I was watching tv and all of sudden it just turned off. We took it to see if it can get fixed and they said No!!! it’s not fixable. Worst tv ever purchased from Samsung!!!!

Bought a broken tv

Spent over 2 hours on the phone with geek squad just for them to forget to put in the new order. They have missed 2 different delivery dates. Very frustrating.

Go for 8k

Horrible picture

Great TV with minor flaws

Screen/color quality is great when looking head on, but disappointed that the color washes out when you watch it from an angle. I have a 2008 46" Samsung and the color is richer on that than this model. Smart apps are great. Sometimes Netflix freezes, and you have to reboot the TV by holding the power button down on the remote to fix it. CONS: Color wash on angle. Netflix freeze I don't mind the new remote style; however I list it as a con because the TV cannot function without the remote. If lost or damaged you are SOL until you get a new one or able to use your phone app as a replacement.

Great TV for picture quality

One drawback is the dimming of the picture when inside lights are turned on and the sun sets in the evening. This takes a period of time for the eyes to adjust to the dimmer picture, which is only critical when watching fast paced sports such as hockey, basketball or tennis. Overall am very pleased with the purchase.
