    At the store it looked perfect but when I had it installed the image looked grainy. The geek squad guys said that I had to upgrade my hdmi cable and receiver to 4k in order to have the optimal image. After I did this the image still looked bad. I decided to exchange it for an Oled LG and the picture on this tv was exactly what I was looking for.

    Great TV for just about everything

    Spent 2 days straight researching online and driving around trying to see the 3 tvs I had in mind all in the same show room (had it down to the Sony 810C, LG 6150, and this Samsung). Wanted a 4k Tv under $1,500. Sony seemed to have better refresh rate and like the android app part but was a year older and the 65 inch isn't as high of quality due to the IPS screen so it came down to Samsung & LG. Both looked great in the show room and decided to go with Samsung based on what looked to be better black level. Got it home and waisted no time due to the fear of the native 60Hz refresh rate. I have since played PS4, watched NBA playoffs, lacrosse championships, all sorts of movies and overall it's amazing. Have had 10+ people over and practically begging them to find something wrong with it so I could spend half the money and jist get a 1080p tv but their reactions are just "WOW". I'm sold and will be keeping this tv. I barely messed with picture settings but the basics are great as they are. Upscaling is fantastic and even with little 4k content available the tv still has an amazing picture not to mention the sound quality with the basic tv speakers are impressive. Overall very pleased especially for the price and it worked for me and my budget. Looked for a tv to game, watch sports and movies and this checks all those boxes. The smart apps I'm not to familiar with and last of my worries so no real helpful feedback on that aspect. Last thing I the remote is pretty minimalistic and not for everybody but I didn't buy the tv for its remote. Hope this helps!

    Purchased this tv picked up in store, brought it home unpacked and turned it on to find that the complete middle of screen was dead. Spoke with customer service in regards to the situation and i received conflicting information at the time of sale vs at the time support was needed. So all in all the tv looked great aesthetically and probably in function if the middle of screen wasn't broke but the customer service i received as an elite plus member was sub par.

    Regular tv watching cable direct tv etc upscaling is not good and 4k content is 1-10 it's a 4 overall not worth it

    We wanted to upgrade from our 47" TV and we thought from the display in the store that this would be a good purchase for the price. However after getting it home we discovered that the picture is very choppy and pixelated. I will not be buying another samsung and I would encourage anyone looking for a good deal to spend your money elsewhere. This tv is a bust.

    Had issues with the tv turning off and on by itself. Was able to get it replaced and same issue occurred. Returned it for a different tv.

    Amazing picture. Remote could use some help

    We've had this TV for about 6 weeks now. We are still blown away about how good the picture looks. My wife said she's never had a TV that she would watch a Netflix movie and just say "WOW!" Even old TV shows like M*A*S*H and Rockford look like I've never seen them before. That said the remote is a bit too spartan. Changing channels by the number requires selecting each digit and pressing enter - ridiculous. And going forward and backward while watching a Netflix show or You Tube video is problematic, as well. Also, a helpful tip: if you are setting up the TV to work with Dish Network go in to the apps on your Dish network receiver or Joey and switch it so it operates on infrared rather than RF. Also be aware (and a bit of a disappointment) Samsung has a known issue with the wifi receiver in many of their smart TV's (not just this one). The TV will randomly fail to connect to the wifi for no reason, only to work again later, even though nothing has changed. The work around is to get a wifi extender with an Ethernet connector on it ($25, give or take) and plug the Ethernet in to the TV.

    I really wasn't in the market for a new TV. I kept telling myself I will get a new one when my 10 year old 42" plasma goes bad (it hasn't, the picture still looks amazing!). I have to say I was in the industry as a vendor for a few years and then in sales for 4 years so, I would like to consider myself a bit of a TV snob. I wanted a 65" Samsung and just couldn't resist. The $ was too good. The complaints on the remote are irrelevant. Who doesn't use multiple remotes or a Harmony? I think it's fine. The detail in the dark areas could be better but I'm not willing to spend that kind of $ to step up to the 9000 series. I had issues with my 1st tv had to exchange. Lets just say the home theater people don't know what they are doing. No help on troubleshooting. I figured it out myself after hours with FIOS, Samsung, and me searching for DNS server settings (yeah, it was a nightmare).

    This is the best TV you can buy for the money. I have it in my living room and have no problems viewing it from many angles. The TV is pretty much just plug and play out of the box, I have not adjusted any settings. My cable guy set up the box and within 2 minutes the smart remote was working to change the cable channels with me only selecting who the provider was; even the cable guy was surprised. The up scaling is very well done on the movies we have watched from HBO. The wireless connection is also very good as my router is in another room, but we have had no problems streaming youtube to the TV. I have 3 other samsung devices (phone, laptop, tablet) that have somewhat poor wireless connectivity, but it seems samsung stepped up their hardware in this TV.
