Oversaturated colors
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Calibration and everything, way over saturated colors, people's skin looks like it is painted on, cannot see the detail or wrinkles on a persons face because of the over saturated picture. I guess I'm used to plasma... However I am very pleased with my Sony 4K now. Also, when I removed tape when tv was unboxed on both un65js9000 sets I have, it got stuck in the cracks of the tv. Curved TV also has weird warping, just doesn't feel / look right.

Not Worth the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV to replace an older 55” 1080P 3D Samsung TV that I had bought in I believe 2010. After looking at many reviews on Best Buy and rtings.com (highly recommended TV rating web site) I picked up the JS9000 4k 65" 3D TV. Once setup and calibrated (settings recommended from rtings.com) I was very pleased with the quality and overall look of the TV. It was only after watching the TV during the day that I realized that this TV attracts a lot of glare. We don't have any windows directly behind the TV but have a couple on each side. One the left which is about 5 feet away but not directly on the side of the TV and on the right there is a small windows and slider about 20 feet away. Mind you I had my last TV in this exact same place with very minor glare issues and the sun never shines directly into these windows and is only indirect light. We first noticed this as I sit in front of the TV and my wife sites to my right on the same couch. I pretty much moved my head 2 feet to the right and a very large glare became visible across the entire length of the TV, which made the TV unwatchable from that angle. We also noticed some clouding in the top right corner of the screen when we had the house lights dimmed or completely off, which was very distracting. I understand that there will be light bleed and flash light/clouding issues as all TVs do and it is an edge lit TV, but for the amount of money this set costs I feel it shouldn't have been so noticeable. Don't get me wrong I could have exchanged it for another set but did not want to chance getting a worse set, so I returned the TV and picked up the Vizio M70-C3 70" 4k TV which I feel is better picture quality, and better black uniformity. I do not notice any flash lighting or clouding on the Vizio. I am very pro Samsung and have only owned Samsung TVs in the past but after seeing some of their newer TVs I feel like I was paying more for the name and the extra features than overall quality. I am very picky when it comes to certain aspects of a TV. I don’t use or really need the curve or 3D function. If you are someone who uses these features and does not care about the black uniformity as much, and has a better environment for a curved TV (less natural light) then this would be a great pick for you. Just to note the Vizio was almost $1,400 cheaper than the Samsung and the spec differences between the high-end Samsung compared to the Vizio is not noticeable to the normal consumer unless you put the sets side by side.

AWESOME T.V.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BOUGHT THIS TV IT REPLACES A 58" SAMSUNG PLASMA THAT HAD NUMEROUS PINK RIBBON ISSUES. THANK GOD I KEEP UP THE WARRANTY THRU GEEK SQUARE BECAUSE THEY GAVE ME ALL MY MONEY BACK ON THE PLASMA WHICH MADE IT POSSIBLE TO PURCHASE THIS TV. THE PICTURE ON THE 9000 IS INCREDIBLE, CRISP BRIGHT COLORS. I MESSED WITH THE PICTURE SETTINGS AND DID NOT LIKE THE PICTURE SO I RESET IT BACK TO WHAT IT CAME WITH AND IT LOOKS GREAT. I DID TURN OFF THE AUTO MOTION PLUS TO ELIMINATE THE SOAP OPERA EFFECT. WATCHING 3 D IS AMAZING AND WHAT IS REAL COOL IS WATCHING 3D ON UVERSE. I DID NOT KNOW YOU COULD WATCH ANY TV SHOW IN 3D, IT IS NOT EXACTLY THE SAME AS WATCHING A 3 D MOVIE, BUT IT DOES MAKE THINGS 3 DIMENSIONAL. I BOUGHT THE RECHARGEABLE 3 D GLASSES BECAUSE THE ONES WITH BATTERIES DON'T LAST VERY LONG. THE REMOTE IS SO EASY TO USE AND IF YOU JUST TOUGH THE POINTER AT NIGHT IT LIGHTS UP. TAKES A LITTLE WHILE TO GET USE TO, BUT WHEN YOU DO IT IS REALLY EASY. I DID NOT THINK I COULD BUY A LED AND GET THE DEEP BLACKS WITHOUT GOING TO OLED, BUT THIS TV HAS REALLY GOOD DARK BLACKS WITHOUT SPENDING ANOTHER 5,500K ON OLED.

Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this model based in part on input from the salesperson. They said that the Curve gave a better View of the TV. If you are in a room that has any windows it will cast a glare on a TV. So I'm not crazy about that. Also the TV keeps having problems connecting wirelessly to the internet. So I have to go through an entire process of resetting and entering my passwords all over again. I found that to be a big hassle. Another problem I've had is a TV screen will just go black. When I called customer service they tell me I have to do a hard reset. When you do a hard reset you have to enter all of your information and passwords for everything all over again. It's very time-consuming. I'm very disappointed with this product and do not think that these issues should be occurring particularly with the cost of this item. I would not purchase this product again.

Vol control quit after 5 weeks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apparently, paying a lot of money for a Samsung TV doesn't assure quality or reliability. The volume control quit after only 5 weeks of operation. A Samsung rep was able to talk me through a patch at the remote control. What a major disappointment!

Not for me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture close up is awesome wide shots are a little fuzzy. My old DLP Samsung was better. I did return this tv and still looking for the right tv. I don't need fuzzy for football season.
