I initially thought curved screens for large surface areas (i.e. not computer monitor size) was a gimmick, and after using this TV for several weeks, I'm not fully convinced I was wrong. To be fair, the curve provides images which seem more "natural" to the eye, increasing immersion and the illusion that what's going on on-screen is actually happening in front of you. The downside is the curve is only effective for a very narrow cone at the center. For a TV of this size (65 in.), that may be a dealbreaker for some, as people sitting off to the side will get glare or poor image visibility. However, for my uses, it's perfect, as I don't plan on sharing my screen unless my wife forces the remote out of my cold, dead, hands (only partially kidding - honey, if you're reading this, I'm totally kidding) The on-board speakers are decent despite the miraculously thin screen, and the bezel is nigh invisible. One point of contention for me is that unlike previous year models of Samsung TV's, the 8500 has an illuminated Samsung logo at the bottom of the screen which can be distracting. I've read in other reviews where people have resorted to using masking tape, but I'm not about to put adhesive on this baby. Image quality is great, HDR works fine when I can find a dedicated 4K program. All in all, well worth it to me, but YMMV. If you tend to entertain large groups, then get a flat screen. If you can fit your crowds to a loveseat, then this TV will blow you away.

I love my 60 inch Curve. It allows my to watch tv from different angles and different rooms without turning it. It’s super clear and definitely worth buying!

This tv really brings everything to life - you will be amazed. Some others noted issues with white dots - I do not have that issue. All of my TVs are Samsung, and I've never had technical issues with any of them. Love the One Connect deal, where you plug in all of your components to one strip and have one cord going to the TV. Ingenious! Can't say enough about this TV...and I love the curved design!

I love the picture quality this tv produces. The technology it has is slightly ahead of its time as 4K stuff is fairly new to my rural area. Right now, the only way I can view 4K is to buy a 4K Blu-ray. That being said, the upscale capability of this TV is phenomenal. It makes 720 quality images the same if not better quality than the 1080p ones on my older Samsung LCD TV. I highly recommend this tv.

Great television I'm impressed with the sharpness, colors and overall picture quality when viewing content. I did alot of research before buying and the only complaint I have is with dark scenes, the backlight bleed that's produced is noticeable but you get used to it, its expected with LED tv's. If your looking to buy a good tv without breaking your bank with an OLED display this TV is the one to get.

I had researched many TVs but never really considered this one until seeing it in store. The sales associate highly recommended it and I took his word and glad I did. In addition to the great picture, I love the smart connect bar. It makes life so easy when connecting all my devices, plus being a smart tv I don't as much of a need for my apple tv or roku stick. I would highly recommend this tv!

I was originally looking at the Samsung 7000 series, but the sales rep pointed out the better features of the 8000 series. Glad I spent a little more for this one. It was easy to set up, and has great picture and sound. I mounted it on the wall. My only complaint is that the manual says to use mounting screws that are 43-45 mm long, but that is too short. I had to use screws that were 50 mm long.

My first curved screen and I really enjoy it. Works well for the sitting arrangement I had to go with in my family room. The screen can be enjoyed from all angles sitting on the sectional seating in the room. It stated that the trim was black however, and the trim is mostly silver and can be somewhat distracting when the sun or lighting glances off it. Other than that I am enjoying the experience.

We had gone to Best Buy's on several occasions to look into purchasing our TV. A very nice salesman Jay would teach us about the features. After finally getting use to the cost, we selected ours. We absolutely LOVE it!!! Every show is so much more enjoyable. The sporting events are terrific. Movies are wonderful. It's the best investment that we've made for our home. Delivery was terrific also!

Beautiful tv and I love the picture. 4K and HDR are just a great addition. I love this tv and you won't be disappointed. If just say anyone using it as a main tv; two words, go bigger!

Tried the previous model 65js8500 a number of times and had to send them all back due to edge bleeding in the corners. Took the last one back after Samsung tried to repair the tv and was worse. Gave up for a while and shopped for other brands. The new 65ks8500 came out and consumers reports raved about it. Had 2k in my best buy account and with it on sale and got an additional 10% off pulled the trigger. The picture quality is excellent, the sound not quite as good as the js8500. Samsung service here is very poor. They use second source repair people. Best Buy was great, Samsung just had a problem with the older model. Also as I have read, 4k TV's are not quite all sorted out.
