the curve matches the geometric curve of my eyeballs. i don't know if that has anything to do with anything. i just thought it was interesting.

Was debating between the "curved" and "flat screen" versions of the TV, and very happy we picked the curved TV, as the picture really stands out.

Easy set-up, great picture, everything works, no problems. I'm a happy camper! For the price, a universal remote should have been standard.

After using a couple of 55" curved Samsung TVs (series 7500 and 8500) with no problems at all, I decided to better go with a 65" (KS8500), This TV had 4 very distinctive areas of bad lightbleed in every corner, obviously the ones at the bottom edge were the most noticeable cause there is where you have most of the dark action in movies (ie: people with dark suits). After showing pictures of the problem to a TV specialist at Best Buy, it seemed obvious to him to have it exchanged...which I did..only to receive a new unit with the same problem again. You shouldn't pay premium prices for products "claiming" to be of Premium quality and performance. Samsung knows about these problems but leave the customer to deal with them.
