Clearly a bargain at the $1500 price based on past purchases. If there were anything negative to say it would be my wife misses the old style "film" look, saying the picture is too "sharp".... like everything has a video look. Personally it makes me feel like I'm there... and I like that. She'll adjust.

Almost a perfect TV

The colors and the contrast on this TV is absolutely the best I have seen in the price range of this TV. The only problem I have is the clouding that happens with this level sets. You can work through a lot of it by massaging it (google it). But in most cases you won't get rid of all of it. This would be a much bigger problem, but it is only noticeable in very low light situations, and even then it is really only noticeable if there is an extended scene that stays low light throughout the majority of the screen for a while. And even then, it isn't bad enough for me to really care. Great set.
