TV only last 3 years
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoyed this TV for only 3 years. Literally at the 3 year mark this TV got vertical lines. I have had televisions for over 10 years and this never happened. Very disappointed considering the price I paid.

Worst curved tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is cheaper for a reason, terrible quality, my own fault for not doing more research, also, learned that u get WAY more glare on a curved tv than a regular flat screen. Use curved tvs in low lit rooms only, we have a large picture window and need to close the curtains during the day to watch. We are exchanging this tv.

Not too happy so far.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Television was packed with no screws, so I cannot assemble the base to the television which means I cant watch it. so while it may be a perfectly good TV, I wont know for another 7-10 business days because they have to send the screws by snail mail (will not express mail them). Also the screws are Samsung specific and I cant just go buy them somewhere else. Very poor service by Samsung. They should have expedited some screws. I mean really!!!

It's okay
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With too much sunlight in the room, the picture is bad. Good if the room is dark. Gives me problems with Internet connection, and netflix errors. Sound quality is poor

Lost Color on half of screen! Done with Samsung!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After 3 years of light use, the tv suddenly lost much of the color on half of the screen, so I'm watching full color on one side and a distorted color to no color on the other side. Very disappointed given the cost of the unit. I believe this will be my last Samsung purchase since I have had issues with other Samsung products I have purchased. I see they have lost their focus on quality. All my other tvs from other brands are still working like new....some are older than this set.

HDR Premium?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this TV a lot but more based off of the deal for early access on black friday. My local best buy helped me out. Originally purchased an LG, but returned it when i saw this Samsung for only a little bit more. The picture quality is much better than the LG. We love the curved screen but on the best buy and Samsung website this tv is listed as non-hdr. I was told by the sales rep that it is... he pointed to the box and said it's HDR premium. I did my research and this tv is not an HDR ... just a little let down by the misinformation. Other than that a good buy at a solid price.

Great TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been looking at curved TVs for over two years and didn't buy one yet because my 56 inch HD JVC has good life left to it....but.....I finally decided to get a curve and bring my home theater to a new level. My daughter is thrilled! Though this model only has 2 reviews- one great and one bad, I decided at the price....it was worth giving it a try. I actually went to buy another new Samsung curve model with more "color" to the screen- and in looking at the display of that model it was gorgeous! It was "The one that every body imagines owning". But in my eyes this other model has an unrealistic image as it creates a look more like a work of art or that of a painting then it does depicting a real life image. Don't get me wrong- both are breathtaking but the other model is unreal and this tv is more realistic and not overly enhanced. The poor review listed here- obviously was a lemon? I have no idea why the problems- my experience was absolutely opposite. Set up was a piece of cake- and it works flawless and the sound is superior. Purchasing a sound bar isn't needed at all..... Though I still will get one with my best buy points for the purchase of the TV. I suggest you Try it before buying a sound bar and you may decided it's more then acceptable. The picture is breathtaking! My JVC 1080 HD was in fact great but this takes it WAY beyond the next level! In the past I use to watch the TV screens at the store and when I got home with a TV it was always a different story...... Not as it appeared in the store. But not with this TV. Especially the 4K videos on YouTube- unreal! We have the original Xbox, xbox 360, Xbox one and wii-u. We are not true gamers- and rarely play any. We also have a Samsung blue ray and an older DVD/ surround sound system. They all worked on the JVC using an after market multi port DHMI unit. There were plenty aux inputs and outputs but then again it was an older TV when components were plugged that way. Here is what I found with this curved TV: This has the 120 refresh rate and for $200 more you can get the 240. I see no blur or problems whatsoever with the 120 and expect I will never notice anything. The model with 240 wasn't available at the time and this one was ready to go and I saved $200. I wasn't being a rush to buy shopper- but in the end it was Something I don't think was needed and if I noticed it- I would return it and get the 240. Again- no issue with the 120 at all. It has 3 HDMI inputs- not the four some have. I did use one with a multi-HDMI splitter and it appears to work that way fine allowing now to have 7 HDMIs. There is one set of old fashion inputs for auxiliary. Not enough for my old original Xbox and not enough for the old multi- dvd/surround sound. I use the aux for the Xbox 360. The setup is easy. The only problem came when I set up my XBox 360 (which does not have HDMI and has to go through the auxiliary component and at first it did not work. It's was easy to follow matching the colors as they should be but it didn't work until I switched a red or blue connector with a green......and then it worked and it was perfect! So be prepared to Just switch some of the inputs colors on the aux cables and you will find the correct setup.....if .....you have the same problem. It took maybe 5 mins at best. I can't use the original Xbox or the multi DVD/surround sound until I find a multi connection or other method if I even decided to do it at all. It's time for change like when you can't hold on to an 8 track tape and expect to load it and hear it on a brand new Boise. Technology moves on. Home wifi was a breeze to connect and the pre loaded apps of Netflix, Amazon prime movies and YouTube work great! The remote is smaller and appears easy to use but there will still be a learning curve. My Cons- -3 HDMIs and not 4 -One set of auxiliary connects -It is not "the model TV" that makes colors look better then life and more like a piece of art through enhancing. Pros- -extremely attractive look -Breathtaking picture/images that are very true to life and not overly enhanced to make it appear modified or fake. -TV already equipped with great sound and you can actually get by with out needing to buy a sound bar.

Do not buy this TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unless you like fixing stuff yourself don't buy. I've read a few hundred reports of the same thing happening to people only after 2 to 3 years of use. I had a plasma tv that lasted over 10 years of heavy use from my gamer son. I'll have to buy and replace the LED strips now to get rid of the purple spots on my screen. You've been warned.

Terrible waste of time and money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this tv for my 73 years old father . He watches maybe a hour of tv a day so it has had very little use now not even 3 years latter it totally went out on him it it turns and then turns off before the screen even comes on . So disappointed I would of expected more than 2 years of use on a tv . Can’t believe Best Buy carries such terrible products ....

Great picture, neat features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.65 inch smart TV with great picture. Great to watch TV and Netflix. No need for additional device to access internet and one remote turns on both TV and high def cable box. Only problems seems remote turns on both but doesn't turn off cable box after TV turns off. Also when I turn back on TV the sound doesn't always turn on. I have to go to Netflix then go back to TV and sound comes on. I haven't contacted Geeks yet about this strange phenomenon. I'm also planning on getting surround sound when my rewards come in.

Beautiful
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is gorgeous. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get a curved 4K TV. The only downfall are the apps, there aren't many choices for what you can download, but the quality of the pictures are incredible. The only bummer is most cable companies do not yet support 4K so the only way you truly get the 4K experience is with an outside app, such as netflix and hulu.
