    If you are looking for good TV at a decent price I guess its an ok product. I was getting white flashing on any TV show that had a dark picture. I was told that it has the same processor as the 47. Not worth the money. I would recommend that someone get the 55" in the 8500 series that is close to the same price point. Its a little less TV but a way better picture. I however went up to the 65" in the 8500 series. That is a great product and worth the money.

    Okay missing things you expect in a tv

    Cannot change tv layout. I miss being able to move a widescreen show to cinema. No timer, small remotes easy to lose.

    I was looking for a replacement TV and I already have a couple of Samsung’s I’ve been happy with. I have a 1080p 32 inch for my home office and a 55" 6300 model in the bedroom. So I thought I would get this 65" 6500 curved version, it was on sale and I had a 10% of coupon. Got this home and it’s a great TV, colors pop and it looks great. However something in the background of mind ws unsettling, it seemed to blur on motion, not unwatchable but still noticeable and the colors while great didn’t pop, really pop. I was out and about the next day and bast another BB store, they had the 55inch 6500 on display and 55” 8500 right above it, both playing the same feed. The 8500 refresh rate is double that of the 6300, the 8500 HDR is 10bit the 6300 is hr1000 not true HDR. There was subtle differences, the reds and greens where a lot brighter, they popped, the blacks had a lot more detail in them and the motion blur was a lot better. Had you not seen them together you would not notice, however once seen you can not unsee, I ended up exchanging the curved 65” 6300 for the curved 65” 8500 and I’m really happy I did. There is a lot of debate on flat or curved, Samsung add some extra features like depth enhancement, again if you can see the same model side by side there is enough deference to justify the extra cost which is about $100 now. The display is crisp and clean, do some google research to set up the best picture you really can make a difference. Out of the box it as the soap opera effect which is too sharpe and false looking. I have a Xbox One S plugged in as a 4k HDR Blu Ray player and the movies are great, bright detailed. For what this cost sub $1k this is a great display and you will love it, if you can afford spend that little extra get the 7 or 8 series it just as that edge.

      Here are a few tips that may help you enjoy more of the 4K vieiwng experience:
      1. The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer the signal is to 4K, the better it will look coming out. It is also designed with lots of custom settings, allowing users to adjust images to their liking.
      2. In addition to the display screen, the quality of the image on your screen also depends on the source and the connection.
      HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing; and when possible, 4k Content will provide the best picture quality.
      3. The quality of the streaming content depends largely on the speed of your internet, as most content providers have adaptive streaming that would automatically adjust the image quality based on the network bandwidth.

    Color is very good, but certain hours of the day glare is bad. Have an audio popping scratching that could be TV or Comcast signal. Jury is out re: cause. Could have additional HDMI because sound connect taken away via bluetooth for the 2017s. That reduces HDMI available for second bluetooth/dvd recorder if you have a soundbar.
