The curve enables a much wider viewing angle and it has virtually eliminated reflections in the picture.

This is my first big purchase of the year for the family and to think that they were not gonna like it because of the curve gave me a reason to look the other way from it. But come to find out that it worked out for all of us that I've even had get togethers in the back yard and brought it out for Sunday night football to find out they all loved it. Also the fact that it comes with all my favorite streaming services pre-installed made connecting to netflix, hulu, etc... Easy and fast. Would definitely recommend and give 100/10 any day.
