WRONG WALL BOLT! What else is Samsung wrong about
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think the tv will be acceptable for the price paid but I am worried about the actual quality now since the instructions are completely wrong on the bolt size for mounting the tv to a wall mount. The instructions say a M4x1.25 20-22mm length bolt is required. I bought four came home and no 20-22mm length is not the correct length. If Samsung can't get something that simple correct, how can we have confidence that anything Samsung says about the tv is correct. Then add to the fact that the Best Buy rep in the store had no idea that the bolts in the instructions were incorrect and sends me over to the hardware store to buy the wrong bolts. I know that I am not the only person to experience this problem as I've seen the same issue posted in numerous forums.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am very sorry you are experiencing issues with your TV not displaying properly. You may want to try the following troubleshooting steps:
1) Check the antenna and input cable connections
2) Check the antenna and HDMI cable connections
3) If the issue persists, define exactly what is wrong with the display. For example, mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, fixed horizontal, or vertical lines
4) Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?
5) Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?
6) If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)
7) If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal
(Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. Signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU700 TV. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV is turning itself on and off repeatedly.
Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:
1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection.
2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.
3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
4) If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.
If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will likely need service. Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you towards a solution or replacement.

Youtube video upload date cut off or doesn't show.

It's either mostly cut off or doesn't show at all. How could Samsung allow this to get past them? Knowing the upload date of a Youtube video is very important. On my other two samsung TV's, the Youtube App correctly shows the entire upload date clearly, but not on this TV. If Samsung reads this, please call Youtube developers and just have them fix this real quick so I don't have to return the TV.

To see the upload date on Youtube while streaming the video, simply press the Up Arrow key on your remote. At the top of the screen under the YouTube video title, you will see the full upload date.

Tv already took a crap

Thank you for purchasing the TU7000 TV. I am very sorry for the color glitch issue you encountered. Please check that your TV has the latest firmware update, which should resolve this specific issue.
To update directly from your TV, press the HOME button on your remote.
- Go to SETTINGS (gear icon) > Support > Software Update > Update Now
- Your TV will check for the update and should start downloading the update. After the update is installed the TV will shut down and restart. Once the TV restarts, press and hold the Power button until the TV turns off and back on.
If your TV is not connected to the internet, follow these steps to update the firmware.
- You can find the update (version 1301.5) at: samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/crystal-uhd-tvs-tu7000-2020
- Extract the firmware to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.)
- Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV.
- Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes.
- The TV will install the update and then restart.
- Once the TV restarts, press and hold the Power button on your remote until the TV turns off and back on.
If the abnormal colors, double images, or ghosting continues after the firmware update, please contact Samsung Customer Support.

Poor picture quality.

I got an LG and for 1 week it was fine, but then had flashlights in the corners so it had to be replaced, but they no longer had the same one so I ask for something equal in price and specs. I got a Samsung and it's picture quality is poor. Also Geek Squad installed it, but it's not leveled right, it's off by almost an inch.

Huge disapointment

First, let's make sure your firmware is up to date. To do so, head to Settings > Support > Software Update. From there, you can easily update if needed.
Next, 1. Run a Picture Test on the TV.
Navigate to Settings, select Device Care, and then select Self Diagnosis. Select Picture Test, select OK and then view the test. You can choose Yes if the picture looks normal, No if there is a problem with the picture, or Show again to see the image a second time.
2. Determine if there are image issues during the Picture Test.
Look for the image issues on the screen during the Picture Test. If there are no issues, this means your TV is working fine. To identify and fix the issue, first, try replacing the cable of the external device that is showing issues.
- If the distortion still appears after replacing the cable, troubleshoot the external device.
- If distortion appears during the Picture Test, proceed to the next step.
3. Request service if distortion appears during the Picture Test.

Terrible product ! Two defective tvs in one week !

The first one had sound with no picture , a problem you see a ton of complaints on Google , and youtube ! Returned for the second one today , turned on and saw green lines through it ! Samsung said in three weeks someone would come out , very condescending , again no help ! I am going to return this one for a better brand . Best Buy is always great , and i know it is not their fault !

Dead pixels after only 4 mths

A few days ago it got a white line down the upper right corner. Best Besy says it's dead pixels and I have to go directly to Samsung for warranty. Also, was VERY disappointed that this only has 2 HDMI ports. Not very goog when you have a cable box, dvd, and a sound bar. The remote is VERY small as well and not backlit so its difficult to use.

Not too fancy and not too complicated with a screen that is almost theatre quality. The impressive Samsung TU7000 Crystal UHD TV 65" wowed me right out of the box. The size is perfect for the kids and room size. Set up was a breeze, we are considering mounting the television when we get the chance and it looks super easy to do. There are an adequate amount for any connection you may need. Turn on was nice and the instructions walked me through set up of all the parental controls for anything the kids may stream and added all the accounts seamlessly on the Wi-Fi. The remote is easy and simple with everything well labeled and laid out. The clarity and sharpness are nice and the colors are deeply rich. My son and I love gaming on the TV, it makes everything life size, like your in the game. The girls colorful cartoon movies are bold and bright with every color of the rainbow visible. I even sneak up there after a long hard day and watch a good horror or action movie. The blacks are visible and the motion rate is superb. All the connections were simple and the television recognized each device that it connected to . I can definitely recommend this Samsung TV with its smart capabilities and all the apps and streaming service I can connect to, there is always something to watch and enjoy on this big beautiful tv.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For me,this TV is awesome.I read and watched reviews and TV is supposed to be entry level.Reviews claimed it just didnt get bright enough compared to what they considered to be higher end.Its totally bright enough and picture is fantastic.I realize the brightness and contrast doesnt have a higher level of adjustment,but I believe its totally adequate for most viewers. And I have it in a bright room! The color is fantastic with a good amount of adjustment. With the eARC input,(and I know this is available on most TV's now) I can finally use only one remote with my Pioneer Elite SC-75 receiver,which is older technology.Its easy to set up and I love the menu system.I have a 55" Samsung TV that was considered higher end at the time and this UHD TV has a more defined,clearer picture with better color.For $500,It will make you happy!!

Before the product review, a special shout out to our BestBuy delivery guy, Victor, from the Geek Squad - he was the BEST! He was very courteous and professional. He took every extra precaution with the contactless delivery and he gave us specific instructions how to carry this 'monstrous' TV to our condo unit. Unboxing was a bit nerve-wracking but if you follow BestBuy's instructions, it's pretty simple. From the start to finish, the setup took about 30 min. The picture quality is amazing and very 'crystal' clear. We noticed that the dark image is really dark, so tried adjusting in the picture settings and got a little better but it's still a bit darker than what we were used to. Bluetooth pairing was very easy. Although the sound from the TV speaker is pretty impressive, it's nice to have the option to connect via our Bose Link and the headphone. The TV stand was an issue as our old one was too small and we didn't want to buy a new one online without seeing it in person (and they are awfully expensive), we ended up connecting our coffee table and the side table - luckily they were the same height - and it gave us the 63.5" width that we needed, so that worked like a charm! This is a great TV and now that we are watching more at home, it really improves the experience immensely!

It's super light and easy to set up. The only problem that I have is the volume is really low. I have to have the volume at over 25 most of the time and I'm not sitting more than 6 ft from the television.

This TV has brought my video games back to life
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After the quick set up and a firmware update, the TV sprung into it's default app Samsung TV which gives you free channels. Picture quality is all right some channels clearer than others. There are Multiple apps that are super easy to navigate. I love the voice activation through Google Assistant (Siri and Alexa compatible as well) But what really impressed me was the picture mode recognition. I didn't have to manually change the picture settings when going from TV to video games, it was automatic. The 'game mode' added so much color and clarity to my video games, that it felt like a brand new game. I'm definitely happy about this purchase!
