This fit the bill. Pros, exactly what as intended. Decent picture/features/price. It is dim, noticeably, especially in bright rooms but even in dark. Biggest con and oversight, this TV only has 2 hdmi inputs. Really missed that one while narrowing down tvs.

If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, try adjusting the following settings
You can try Dynamic Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic
Or manually adjust the Brightness settings to your liking.
Go to Home> Settings> Picture> Expert Settings> Brightness
You may also want to adjust the Contrast, Sharpness, Color, or Tint (G/R) in the Expert Settings.
We also recommend that you adjust the settings of your Power Saving Mode.
Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.

Good picture, flakey features and controls

I really like it. Unfortunately that's where the good ends. Here's the bad: 1. The Smart TV features crash and lock up and just don't work frequently. I'm talking like 4 to 6 times a week I need to restart the TV and I've had to factory reset it twice in the 4 weeks I've owned it. I resorted to buying an Amazon Fire Cube and use that now instead of the Smart TV features. 2. The remote may be the worst design I've ever seen. The layout is terrible and I'm constantly pushing the wring button. The older simple Samsung remote was much better. I've owned 3 other Samsung TVs and have been super happy with all of them. This will be my last one. I'd return it but i don't want to go through the hassle of unmounting it from the wall and packing it up. The combination of the Amazon Fire Cube and a different universal remote have made the TV functional enough to use for me.

Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care.
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.
