Christopher Barnes stayed until he was sure everything was working and that I was able use the remote properly. I could not ask for more

Auto detect HDMI will drive you crazy. Don't Buy

But if you have an Xbox or Playstation connected you can't watch TV without it turned on because the auto detect HDMI notification pops up every two seconds and you can't exit it without turning on your game console. it is the most annoying thing I've ever dealt with in my life and it makes me hate this TV. Samsung needs to come out with an update to turn off auto detect HDMI as soon as possible or I will be returning this piece of junk. The Samsung UI is disappointing, it's clunky and slow and freezes up often. The picture is okay for watching TV, not great, not bad, just okay. For gaming the gaming mode really makes it look nice. Better picture quality than when you're watching TV in my opinion. My first ever Samsung smart TV and as of right now I will never, ever buy another.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the TU7000 TV. I am sorry that you are experiencing some slowness and freezing with your unit.
To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.
Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings>Support>Software Update. (ver. 1410.1 released on 11/4/20)
Both the current version and new version number will be displayed. The current version is what your TV is using and the new version is the latest update.
New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit.
You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience by selecting > Auto Update.
Please know that in the power sync mode, the TV continues to detect and connect external
devices via HDMI cable. This function can be deactivated by removing the HDMI cable of the connected device.

Good display with bad automation

For the cons, TV ran smooth first 2 days. Then it started freezing. It would freeze and gives a sharp buzzing sound. The remote would not work at that moment and tv has to be plugged out and plugged back in for it to restart. 2nd thing is sound. Sound started freezing on the 5th day. It would go up however you could still here well even at volume “0” (TV sound was setup on the TV volume not the external speaker). While this wasn’t enough, TV never sync with exterior audio speaker that we had bought from vizio. Over all, As much as I was impressed with the picture quality and sharpness, it wasn’t compensating for the troubles we had to go through just fixing the volume and restarting tv every day. This did not happen with another competitor I had with similar or more features.

I am sorry that you are experiencing issues with your TU7000 4K Smart TV.
Your TV has several self-diagnosis tools built in that can help solve problems with signal, network, picture, or sound.
Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care

You may also want to clear out your TV's temporary storage space by pressing and holding the Power button for 6 seconds.

Not really worth nearly $600 for less than a year and a half. Worked great for the little time it did work. Samsung used to be quality. Can't even get TVs right anymore, let alone appliances.

I now have replaced all TV's in the house for Samsung smart TV's ! Now i just need to get a bigger house so i can get a bigger TV . As always the picture is clear as possible . I highly recommend buying Samsung TV for your next one .

The only app it doesn't have is specific to a provider in my location, so that's no big deal. Very nice visuals and not terrible sound. Based on the sale, I'd pay that for the value I got in a heartbeat!

Great TV

It picks up my WiFi signal way easier even though it’s in my bedroom. The apps are easy to use and it’s nice being able to put them in any order. Wish it had one more HDMI though.
