Great Tv

The only disadvantage is the remote buttons could be larger on the key buttons. The largest buttons are buttons that you rarely use. The remote for your smart phone is pretty good though. We did curbside and it was amazing. Wish I could always shop like that.

I can't airplay using my Android or computer. These devices aren't old. It works decent with Apple Airplay. Some of my favorite apps are missing in the store. Samsung TV is a free and had about 200 channels that can be live streamed. That was a pleasant surprise. Picture doesn't blow me away, but is nice.

But just after 4 days during cyber monday you gave a 3 minth apple tv subscription with it. Would have liked to get it too. You should have kept it for both cyber monday and thanks giving. But otherwise the tv is good and best buy service was also good

High hopes

Volume is no good. You cant hear what is being said, but background music, sound effects, etc. are way too loud. I bought soundbar for it. Same issue. Nothing i do fixes this. You have to constantly turn up and down to not anger neighbors. Its just not right. What a let down. I give one star because of picture quality. Other than that, the tv is not worth it

Your TV has several volume features you can enable/disable/adjust that may help resolve your issue.
1. Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input.
2. Adaptive Volume automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source.
3. Several Sound Modes are available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode.
4. The Auto Volume function automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On
You may also want to perform a Sound Test under Support > Self Diagnosis > Start Sound Test.

So disappointing

It is all jumbled also if you are connected to a cable box sometimes it comes on sometimes it doesn't. The volume on their TV is now load at all you will ha e to get a sound bar on yih volume is always going to be on 75+. I wish I could get something else.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV and for your review. Your thoughts regarding the interface, connection with a cable box, and volume is important to us and will be shared with our internal teams.
Most cable and satellite boxes can be connected with HDMI. If your cable box has component connections, the first thing you may want to do is contact your cable company and see if there is an upgraded box available.
1) Make sure the TV and cable box is turned off.
2) Connect an HDMI cable to your cable box’s HDMI out port, which should be located on the back.
3) Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to any of the empty HDMI ports on your Samsung TV.
Your TV should automatically recognize that you connected a cable box and not only switch to the source, but change the name of the source to the name of your cable box.
I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with low volume. One possible cause for the low volume is the source. Some sources have their own volume control which might be set too low.
We recommend you try a Sound Test under Support > Self Diagnosis > Start Sound Test.
Another way to check the source volume is to test an internal streaming source like Netflix or YouTube to compare.
You may also select from several Sound Modes and advanced settings to meet your personal preferences. Press the Home button on your remote, and then navigate to Settings > Sound > Sound Mode

Christmas “tops” the pandemic!

The price made this TV something we could not turn down! Plus, the salesman was phenomenal! As the TV was too large to take home in our car, arrangements were easily made for the TV to be picked up on another day. Amazing service!!!

Poor Operating System for Apps

First, it is hard to navigate. I also have a TV with Roku and it is so much easier. With the Tizen OS it is so sensitive that when scrolling between apps it doesn't move for a few seconds and then skips 4 apps. Second, Samsung doesn't keep their apps current. You can't get the NBA app so you can't subscribe to their package. It seems they want to control it rather than let you have the apps you want. There is nothing so special about the picture quality for the same class TV that justifies a poor operating system heavily controlled by Samsung. Avoid all Tizen TV's.

First, I recommend updating your Firmware. To do so, go to Settings> Support> Software Update.
Next, you may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care.
Currently, the Samsung TU7000 does not offer an NBA Pass App. However, alternatively, the NBA Pass subscription is available on the Amazon Prime Video App.

Dark picture and sound problems

The first developed a frequent zapping sound. Best Buy immediately replaced it. We have noticed that the replacement has had the same zapping sound but not as frequent. The picture was dark and needed adjusted to the setting of dynamic. The brightness is up as far as it goes. Hope this TV was not a mistake.
