Worst tv EVER literally
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Please don’t bother buying this tv it sounds nice and expensive and seems like the tv will be good but NO it’s far from that this TV is pathetic not compared to a roku this Tv is so difficult to navigate extremely frustrating to find the shows you want insanely large remote for no reason ! Wow I should’ve thought twice before buying this TV it also cracked at the top of my tv and now I have no receipt to return it my luck huh ? I’m super mad at buying this tv everyday I use it and I’m extremely frustrated not to mention that when the tv turns on you will have to wait a minute or 2 for it to connect to wifi !! It also didn’t recognize my PS4 right away ! I’m super upset I knew I should’ve just got the ROKU TV !! Samsung what a disappointing TV !!

The interface issue you are describing may be related to your network connection and quality.
We suggest you try the following:
1. Use 5G Wi-Fi if possible
2. Try wired LAN if available
3. Try repositioning the router so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router.
Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

Horrible Remote

I bought the TV on sale and got a pretty good price, the picture is fine at night, the glare can be horrible during the day, and depending on what you're watching the sound quality is okay. I may have to buy a sound bar at a later date. However, the remote has A LOT of buttons, which reminds me of a Universal Remote. The buttons don't light up when you push them so when I'm watching TV at night with the lights out I have to turn the lights on to see the buttons on the remote to change the channel or bring the volume up/down. I don't feel like memorizing buttons so I'll just changed to an Alexa Firestick.

Regarding your picture being too dark, I have a few recommendations.
First, let’s ensure you are running the latest Firmware Update. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.
Next, If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings.
For darker scenes, I recommend Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic.
Or you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings.
You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to: Settings > General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.

Great TV

It was quite difficult working with Best Buy to have the TV installed, but the installation was done perfectly once they finally got here. The technicians did a goood job.

Great Value for the Money

Resolution is crisp, panel is bright, gaming mode works great, UI for the built in apps is awesome, and you can customize settings and picture modes. Ours tends to flicker a bit on occasion, but if you restart it it stops, mild irritation but no big deal.

Plenty of smart tv are at best buy

A product so sensitive and valuable can't be trusted from any other retailers. Best buy stocks many brands but my favorite is Samsung. Product was on display which allowed me to feel it and see it before buying.

Great quality TV

It could be my WiFi so I don’t want to drop a star, but as I arrow thru my remote there is a little lag. Nothing crazy, but I have been meaning to buy an additional router. This should help resolve this issue. Other than this is has been great.

Not all that impressed

It’s a 65” that our son picked up for us and it is wall mounted. We do not have a Best Buy local so returning/exchanging wouldn’t be an easy thing to do.

I think that is why the reviews must be so high. It's nice that I can watch Netflix and other streaming platforms on it (though Roku does a much better job of that). That being said I definitely would not recommend this TV to anyone. It has only 2 HDMI ports, even less than the $100 TV I got back in college. It has this pretty annoying feature that you cannot turn off where it switches inputs anytime one of your devices turns on. For example if you have a Nintendo Switch any time you dock your Switch the TV will change inputs, exiting whatever you were watching. The remote can be pretty laggy; I guess you are meant to use the phone app instead (which doesn't include a keyboard for some reason). Overall, I think you can do better.

Anynet+ controls external devices that are connected to the TV via an HDMI cable, and will turn on/off when you turn the TV on/off.
To turn off the Anynet+ function of a device connected to the TV, turn off the Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) function of the device.
Go to: Settings > General > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC)
To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care
