The TV is very slow to recognize the WiFi. Sometimes we have to wait up to 5 minutes for it to recognize the WiFi. There is also a huge lag from when we select a character on the remote to the television, (about 1-2 seconds which is very noticeable.) we’ve also had this very bad glare/distortion that comes and goes whenever it pleases. It distorts the colors, mainly around characters faces. It does also affect the brightness of certain scenes. We’ve tried everything to fix it, but it continues to happen randomly. The easiest fix is to just turn the tv off, disconnect the power cable and leave it for a few minutes and then turn it back on. However, this doesn’t always fix the issue.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 and for your review. I am very sorry you experiencing issues with brightness and color. A new firmware update has been released to address this. You may also need to manually reboot your TV after the update by either unplugging the AC cord or by pressing and holding the power button on the remote until the TV powers off and back on.
Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically.
You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience.
Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care

This Samsung television was on sale and is a smart television so thought it may be a good value and purchase. The television does not have many HDMI jacks and I think it is a minus. However, this Samsung television overall is a pretty deal.

One is an extra HDMI input and the other is a way to lock out broadcast channels that you don’t want. Other than that so far so good it’s been awesome. And the geek squad team that brought it out they couldn’t have been better!

I think we got used product

Because it glitches and the first day remote control "up", "down" buttons stopped worked. And it sometimes glitches that we have to turn it off and on, and its been only 2 month using it. Other than that I think I would give 5 stars, but I think its unfair if we paid full price but get product which was maybe used before.

Your TV has several self-diagnosis tools built in that can help solve problems with signal, network, picture, or sound.

My only gripe is that the volume on my Bluetooth soundbar is irratic (gets really loud, and volume up is 5x the volume down key press value) and switching inputs can be jarring when your favorite show comes on full blast. But the rest is good, i would buy it again... prolly with a Samsung soundbar though.
