Its fine

I'm a little disappointed in the lag when switching between the apps. But I guess that's normal. I thought we were further along than that but okay. But if you are going to have cable or roku or whatever then none of that matters. Also easy to cast to. I'd recommend it.

The 55" was and still is amazing and is now my bedroom TV. The TV had some problems but I just thought it was first time kinks. The picture was good, not great. Did not really see much of a difference between my old and new set. The main problem is that the OS (Tizen) that comes with the TV is not optimized for the processor. This make navigating and streaming almost unwatchable. It is not a problem of my internet as I have gig speed and hard wire most of my components. Its a shame because I had high hopes for the TV.

I am sorry that you are experiencing lag when navigating and streaming on your TU7000 TV.
Have you tried Device Care option?
Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care.
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

Made the mistake of not having it under warranty, and just missed the Manufactures warranty. Not this time :)

Needs work

It’s a bit annoying but it’s my understanding they are working on an update remote could be nicer feels cheap and doesn’t glow or have a backlight. Otherwise would be 5 star

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV and for your review. I am very sorry that you are experiencing internet connection issues. You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection:
1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m).
2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)
3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test
4) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again.
5) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

Good TV when it Worked

At this point would not suggest this TV. For the short time it worked picture was great, although the Operating System can feel clunky and takes time to learn it. The Samsung TV Channels are a nice one to have, alhough the channels are not regular favorites.

Biggest Bang for your Buck

Very very very happy with this TV. So far I love everything about this TV. I was in a AV technician for seven years putting up all kinds of new technology In this TV does me just fine

Great value for the money

My only negative comment is in regards to unit only having 2 HDMI ports. I have had to purchase a separate device to add more HDMI ports in order to connect more devices beyond cable and sound bar, such as Blu-ray player and Apple TV.

Terrible mistake. Slow and difficult to use

Remote is cramped and sometimes doesn't register presses. YouTube wont work 60% of the time. Cannot cast youtube to it at all. Google cannot tell it to search for anything on youtube. Samsung smart things is difficult to set up. I wish I didn't buy a samsung tv and would return it but I spent hours mounting it to the wall and cannot be bothered taking it down then hiring a truck to return it to bestbuy.

Samsung 65" Class 7 led 4K Smart Tizen TV

I read reviews on this model and customers said sound could be improved. They were right. i am 75 and hard of hearing. I purchased a sound bar. Solved my problem. TV does a lot more than I need. I would buy again.

So glad I went into the store instead of online because the help was more personal. The Geek squad did a wonderful job of installation and offered some suggestions also. Planning on coming back soon to buy an iPad.

Extremely slow, and the WiFi module just won’t work unless I unplug the power and plug-in again. Imagine every time you want to watch TV you have to go to the back of tv and unplug it first. Terrible quality control.
